If you slide the back slider downwards it should automatically open the camera.

If this doesn't work for you your back cover switch is bad or screwed up. You can get new back covers really cheap on ebay.

gostaria de fazer um comentario sobre este celular. Comprei um destes há dois meses, e o mesmo apresentou um problema que deixa a tela de lcd toda preta. Enviei para a assistencia tecnica da Nokia e a mesma devolveu o apareçho alegando que por mau uso meu o aparelho não teria mais garantia. Isso , é um absurdo.

there is a flash on it i have one theres a flash on the camera n its not bad either but the camera on mine doesnt work properly anymore but wen it used to it was good. im getting new phone soon anyway :D

no when you flip the slider back the camera does nothing at all. also the phone eats away at its own memory and it is very very slow. the button to turn the volume down doesnt work at all so the phone volume is constantly on maximum and it turns itself off all the time. this is why im getting a new phone lol :P

never buy this phone, at first i find it a cool phone, but then, its software became slow, and the phone falls out sometimes, i handled the phone with care, it never falls doown on the ground etc. In the netherlands many people encounterd problems with the phone..!

There was even on national television a program called "radar" for consumers and problems with products. The n73 was on that show because of the many complains about it!

n80 if u need to use Wi-fi ... but i have the n73 and i am very pleased with it. the n80 and n73 are about 98% the same... so it's up to u to choose ;)

ok thanks, i already told my dad that i like n73 =D ahihi.. i mean i tried using my friend's n73 and i liked it! even though it's kinda slow... one thing that i never really like about sony's is that they always offer the same menu and couldn't install other menu.. unlike nokia's they offer a lot of menu plus gives you the opportunity to install software =D

Just handy well-found features that where bound to hit the market sometime are called innovative when released by the first producer and when te second one does it.. it's a rip off!
