Went to the Flyers game @ Buffalo last week...needless to say, I have never been at a sporting event where parents were taking their children out with their ears covered due to the language being used. I had a very small child (approx. 5 years old) sitting right next to me, and the row of Flyers fans behind me were so vulgar (F and N bombs) that, after a few requests to stop that were not met, the child was carried out by his obviously distraught mother. Why does it seem that your city has some of the shortest and fattest people I have ever meet. Most men 5'7" and under and weighing well over 200 LBS. Most be those Philly cheesesteaks. Philly is one of the few places where my 5'8" 190 LB frame feels tall and skinny. Is that why the people in philly are short tempered, because most people are short and overweight?

Flyer fans are the best. Yea right. They have the least amount of knowledge of hockey in the league. They drop the F bomb around little kids, throw drinks. Gee that's certainly is something to be proud of. They spend more time yelling at the other team and other fans that they never even cheer for their own team or actually see the games. You're known as the biggest whiners & cryers throughout the whole NHL. Another thing to be proud of.

Ever since watching this game when it happened, I have realized how little class Flyers fans have. Lindy Ruff is a class act coach and was a bad ass enforcer in his day. I even got to see the lack of class first hand when I went to a game at the Whackoff Center and listened to jobbers shout obscenities with little kids around. No shame I tell ya!

Yeah, Flyers fans are known for their stupidity (Mocking the Canadiens after they beat them by calling them "frogs", despite the fact that the best Flyers in the series were Briere and Biron- both French Canadians), but I know Buffalo fans accosting Carolina fans in the arena's restrooms in Raleigh during their 2006 series. Very few, if any other cities have I seen trash throwing. Philly is known for stuff like that, booing injured players and obvious penalties are just some other stuff that kind of look bad on the fan base. Not saying all of philly's fan base is bad, but you have to acknowledge the fact that theres more rude/obnoxious jerks in philly's fan base than in any other.

Went to the Flyers game @ Buffalo last week...needless to say, I have never been at a sporting event where parents were taking their children out with their ears covered due to the language being used. I had a very small child (approx. 5 years old) sitting right next to me, and the row of Flyers fans behind me were so vulgar (F and N bombs) that, after a few requests to stop that were not met, the child was carried out by his obviously distraught mother. Disgusting.
