  • 3:49 TIM VINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ummm downtown abbey??

  • Not as clever as it thinks it is.

  • @alexmeyers1985 Agreed. There is also a line between funny and bitter, and the skit's writing crosses that line too often.

  • hahahah... great!

  • Thumbs up if you just heard about this show and were looking where is Abbey?

  • this is the best tv show i have seen thank you you tube

  • This is beautiful.

  • Too many funny lines to quote. HILARIOUS!! Well done all.

  • Bloody marvelous!!

  • Sybil's looks are the best!!

  • "and my Sex and the City millions.." omg

  • "Marvelous, I don't know how I do it…" -- LOL

  • Tea is made.. Milkmaid.. Homemade.. (Yes! It's me - the knitted character!).. Maid in China... she's not here at the moment, obviously. And finally.. Mermaid hahaha! Priceless!

  • Is this for real?

  • As hard as it is for Englishmen to say it in this era. SO TRUE

  • Kim Cattrall? This should be a real funny show

  • Jennifer Saunders!!!!! How delicious!

  • Joanna Lumley!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!!!

  • " you can't speak now - the Music has started! " love it!

Cheers from Canada we are loving the real Downton Abbey

  • "ok everyone done with all their looks" LMAO

  • wtf. This is bloody hilarious

  • SO funny. Everything is brilliant - 'daughter number 2', the maids, JOANNA LUMLEY, Hilarious!

  • The knew that voice sounded familiar... the narrator is Michael Gambon!

  • there's a scratch on this spoon! we must get to the bottom of it! *wince*

  • oh my god it's samantha from SATC!!! brilliant!

  • Marvelous...I do not know how I do it!! Priceless!

  • Perfect! That one woman has Cora's annoying breathe-y voice and stupid eye movements down pat.

  • @maychen I think it's Kim Cattrall

  • Is the actress playing Sybil on Horrible Histories? She looks really familiar.

  • Absolutely brillant!!! Jennifer Saunders is wonderful!

  • "You'll soon get used to our ways Mr Crawler" lol

Who the hell did they cast as O'Brien in this spoof she looks familiar

Omg I hope there will be another Downton Abbey spoof this Red Nose Day

  • @ellenkingsley It´s Sophie from Peep Show!

  • "Oh, I'm so evil!" HAHAHAHA!

  • I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to see the expressions of the real actors of Downton Abbey's after watching this!

  • My mistake Joanna plays the house keeper. Hilarious!

  • The Countess is Joanna Lumley from Ab Fab.

I killed myself laughing when she went down the stairs!

  • AWESOME!! so funny :) and :P who is the over voice?

  • @TardisBlue100 Sounds like Michael Gambon!

  • @floresarts totally :)

  • @floresarts Sounds like Michael Gambon to me too, good ear! I love this so much. My favorite parts are the introductions on the stairs outside: "This is O'Brien." "Bleh." "And Thomas, the footman." "Well, hello, gorgeous!" And the "Have we all done our looks?" near the end. I don't know how they managed to make this so funny without making me mad, because I dearly love Downton Abbey! Even a well-done production has aspects that are good for poking fun at, I guess. Hysterical!

  • This is hilarious! Thanks!

  • This is hilarious! Thanks!

  • This parody is so spot on...The Dowager Countess, wow Jennifer Saunders is hilarious! Lady Mary's expressions and the exaggerations of Thomas, Bates and O'Brien are excellent!!

    Please do another one!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • "Well, why don't we start with Dame Maggie Smith?" Even in a parody, she gets the best one-liners.

  • whats Kim Cattrall doing there? lol

  • @DarMar106 My "Sex and the City" millions! I didn't recognize her until she said that but she seemed TOO familiar.

  • Oh... so funny!

  • Saunders has played this Bob on

  • And Caroline Quentin from 'Men Behaving Badly' as "Mrs. Crawler."

  • 'Zillit Bang' XD

  • O'Brien's introduction. 'Nehhh'

  • 3:54 is just the funniest part of the whole thing. Just the way that Joanna says it. I'm still not over it!

  • is that KIM CATRALL??

  • @catman2316 YES!!! :) she even mentions her "sex and the city millions" :))

  • Cook throws flour on self 0:52.

  • Great fun...and brilliant Jennifer Saunders as always! I love the real series and this too!

  • This is a "grey" video. =p

  • This is a wonderful parody. Americans think the Brits are so superior... it is good fun watching the actors making fun of their role models.

  • This is amazing

  • "....How do you keep up?" "There's a precede at the beginning of each episode, for idiots."

  • @rmtmiller that's 'precis' - means a concise summary of essential points, statements, or facts

  • @nancyjgill , thanks, I knew his point but did not know exactly what word he was saying.

  • Thomas the evil footman :D

  • Rather expensive waste of time.

  • "Leonardo DiCaprio was on that boat!" LMAO!!! Love this parody!

  • "Made in China, she's obviously not here...and the mermaid!" LMAO! So well done, making fun of my favorite show but I was too busy laughing to be offended

  • OH MY GOD THE LOOKS THEY'RE GIVING. Spot on! Espeically Sybil's, she's always kind of looking like: ''what the hells going on? what am i doing here?''

  • O'Brien's hair is hilarious.

  • You can't speak now, the music has started.

  • Oh that's thomas the evil footmans and bates. Crawly: "weren't you in lark pies to manchesterford?" aahahahaha best bitt. The whole thing is sooo funny though

  • "And then somehow it just happens as if by magic, one big POOF, and there it is on my telly. Jolly clever, really." This hilarious video get funnier every time I watch it!

  • Loved Mr. Bates adding a limp this time to his character! And the 'hand maid' :)

  • OMG that's hilarious!

  • Too freaking hilarious!!! Love it.

  • Kennt jemand das lied aus der rednose day werbung 2011??? Do you know the song from the rednoseday promotion 2011??? please answer bitte antwort ist super wichtig ... ;(

  • Too good. ;-)

  • "On my honor, so I will" - I died.

  • This would be my favourite historical period if it weren't the fall of the Russian Empire.

  • Incredibly clever!

  • 5:16 "Daughter number 2." "Oh thanks, thanks a lot." We laugh because it's funny, and we laugh because it's true. Poor Edith.

  • Crack up

  • Omg! Absolutely fabulous!

  • House maid, under maid, over maid, tea is made, milk maid, home maid, made in China. She's not here at the moment obviously, and mermaid. XD

  • Brilliant! LOL And just as I finished watching season 1's ending on PBS.

  • LOL...Simon Callow as a ludicrously over-the-top Julian Fellowes...hilarious.

  • Food

  • I love how all Mrs Patmore does is kneed dough and play with flour.

  • Is that Michael Gambon narrating?

  • @sabbersolo - Abso-bloody-lutely! There are so many legends here, I think I'm OD'ing on epicness! XD

  • Spot on parody

  • jennifer saunders daughter is iin it! one of the maids :')

  • Mrs Danvers! Too rich. Very very funny, and awfully well done.

  • :D Spot-on satire of the show!

  • omg hilarious!!! love it!

  • What does he say 1:05. A little less what?

  • @cameronboy18 starch

  • @cameronboy18 "A little less starch." Back in the day, the butler used to iron the papers to get the crease out. But they didn't actually use starch, which is what the dry cleaners use to make shirt collars stiff.

  • Yep, fan of the series and this was delicious. ("Same character?" "I've added a bit of a limp").

  • i wish dale winton had been thomas in the real version, it would have made me like watching scenes with that character in them! ;)

  • brilliant!

  • Being a massive fan of the real show, Im loving this parody!

  • They have to do this again next year. Season 2 of Downton Abbey was great but there are so many things you can make fun of like Matthew suddenly being able to walk again.

  • "Hi really cool to meet you." Best. line.

  • I believe Maid in China is played by the daughter of the actor who played Sir Not Appearing in this Film from "Holy Grail." Such a talented family.

  • I love the attitude and the charismatic characteristics each has. Beautiful. IS this a show or movie?

  • Downstairs friends... Who work 12 hours a day for peanuts!! lol.

  • I am still wiping my tears from laughing - oh so wonderful! Thanks for posting this!

  • hhahahahaah i think this is pissing funny

  • they should invite ronnie cannon (you tube) to sing at downton abbey that would be great

  • I think O'Brian, Mary and the Dowager Countess are the best in this. They nail the characters perfectly. I never realised how funny Mary's dramatic looks were before.

  • Brouhahaha ........

We never imagined we could have so much fun with stuffy costume drama.....

    Saunders / Smith rule this!

  • This is brilliant! What's missing is Alan Rickman!

  • @Snowkitten707 whats missing is Dawn French !

  • Did anyone else spot the Fire Exit sign in the 'Dame Maggie Smith' scene?

  • LOL was funny to see a piss take of it, but i do actually enjoy the real program. :)

  • 'There is a scratch on the spoon. We must get to bottom of it!' LOL

  • @brightonking69 The Knitted Character is from Harry Hill's TV Burp. For the competition "Where Has The Knitted Character Been This Week?", viewers have to find the character hidden in tv shows :)

  • @Kanangnut ah ok. i dont think many people got that one! LOL

  • "On my nelly, I'd ask you to keep your tongue tightly shut in the future before you go sounding off about Johnny's you've not even met, on my honour so I will!"

  • I just love this. I cannot watch the real thing now and take it seriously.Genius

  • @9heighway same I crack up when the music starts

  • "O'Brien"

    "Nah" :P

  • There is usually a barrier when it comes to British humor for me (like I don't know enough to get the jokes) but Downton makes the walls come down. I laughed so so hard at this I can't even explain.

  • @swissmiss322 well believe it or not, british comedy is roundly considered the best in the world

  • 2:36 "Oh. I'm so evil" XD

  • I MET JENNIFER SAUNDERS TODAY. ok im calm :D she is so nice!

  • @AriLiv1 lucky bitch

  • Wonderful British acting and such wonderful people. Truly excellent!

  • LOL! Is that Michael Gambon narrating? ;) Sorry if someone else already pointed it out...

  • I really love the real thing but this is absolutely brilliant!

  • Who plays Edith in this? The actress seems so familiar.

  • @TheOriginalMe I thought that too! I can't work it out. Lady Edith, anyone?

  • @looseho She's in that comedy with Lee mack. 'Not going out'

  • I remember seeing this before even watching the show. This was the reason I ended up watching Downton Abbey and getting hooked!

  • Brilliant. Pure brilliance!

  • weeell, why don't we start with DAME MAGGIE SMITH? hilarious :)

  • This is bloody fantastic! Funniest thing I've ever seen! :)
