I am an American, who loves hockey, respects the hell out of Canada , their hockey program, and has enjoyed visiting their country. The 2010 gold medal game was one of the greatest hockey games I have ever seen (right up there with game 7 Rangers vs Devils 1994 ECF) While I was sad US lost, they proved they could play with Canada, and I look forward to 2014 (If the NHL is smart enough to send the pros).

As an American, I was so sad to see us go down like that after scoring that late tying goal. My honest gut feeling says that if there was no intermission between the 3rd and OT, the US carries momentum and wins the game. But hey, hats off to Canada, it was one hell of a fight, looking forward to when we beat you guys in 2014 :) But seriously, good game guys, HOCKEY IS THE BEST
