This video is wrong. Yes, it takes him 17 seconds. But, he does not run down the ramp. That would be stupid. He is indeed under the ring. He usually enters when something is on the titantron and the cleaners are cleaning, hides under the ring (where there is a monitor/tv) and comes out when needed. Of course, as it is on Smackdown, they edit out the time it takes him to do this so it appears to be instant.
@pryor18 I'll do ya the favor. At a live show, there's only a few possibilities. One is that he's already under the ring with a monitor to watch for his cue. 2, during a commercial break, crew usually come down to the ring for various reasons like set change or maintenance. When this is the case, there's ALWAYS one really tall dude dressed the same as the crew with a cap or hood on (Taker). Then makes his way under the ring. I've worked shows for WWE in the past. It's not a big secret.
@DavidShroomBeattie smackdown is filmed, wwe raw is live, shown live but there's a few minutes difference, so they can edit out any mistakes ect, they had it filmed in mexico city though.

All live events are typically aired with a buffer delay so the producer can bleep/blank swear words so the FCC/Sponsors don't get pissed off. Off the top of my head I know the MLB Home Run Derby has a delay to blank out swears since the batters are mic'd up and are known to mutter expletives after they just miss hitting a pitch on the sweet spot.
@420ruthless I don't think you understand how WWE live shows work. On Monday night, it is live. You can go to the show, wave on tv and talk to your family at home watching you live. On Tuesday night, the film it for Friday. Monday is live. Friday is not. However on Monday there is a small delay between the action and it appearing on tv. This is for censorship. The same as all live events.

When I went to Raw, and undertaker came out and confronted HBK, it didn't take THAT damn long for him to show up. I don't see how this has anything to do with shitty storylines or the attitude area.
I never understand why people talk about the Attitude Era like it'll magically solve all of wrestling's problems. In his address on Raw where he introduced the Attitude Era to the fans, McMahon said one of the things the WWF prided itself in is changing with the times. If WWE returned to the Attitude Era now, it would completely go against the very spirit of the Attitude Era. WWE going back to Attitude now would be like if back in 1999 it had decided to go back to the cartoony 80s style.

Just like a lot of fans who had watched wrestling since the 70s-80s didn't like the Attitude Era, you don't like today's wrestling because it's not what you grew up with.
