  • Saw this guy live a few weeks ago as he opened for Lenny Kravitz. This guy is awesome, what a great sound!

  • me too

  • They stayed at my hotel.. Fun ppl love them

  • @missshygirl101 Oh daaaaamn, for real? That's nuts! He looks like a one straight rockin' youngster.

  • This song is the real deal. I love that Motown groove, that just rocks Raphael Saadiq back into a time when he was very young, and music was about grooving and loving without all the stupid lyics that dominate the airwaves today. I also want to shout out to Stax records which probably also influenced Raphael to put this CD together.

  • @ceefuller-Trust me, he AMAZING live!! You won't be disappointed!!

  • A 2011 recording with a 4:3 aspect ratio? That surely adds to the vintage feeling of the music! :)

  • He and the John Mayer Trio need to do a tour together.

  • Real fucking music man and I am only 24 we need people like him to keep the GROOVE ALIVE

  • @CHRISSTOREY1 I know right. I didn't expect Raphael to come out with music like this I expected him to keep his R&B groove type music. He still doing it, but now his music takes you back to those motown days.

  • Génial

  • his background singers are giving 150%!

  • I don't know why but he reminds me of steve erkle xDDD He's so great live, and I can't believe he's in his 40's o-o

  • @thesingerperson When I read he was born in 1966. I almost had a heart attack.

  • wonderfull!!

  • That female backing vocalist should be fronting her own band. She totally commands the stage.

  • Smokin'!

  • I guess ima have to take the blame for that 1 dislike if nobody will. cause someone accidently hit the dislike button obviously

  • I have got to,just got to see him live. On my bucket list.

  • @ceefuller absolutely! I agree!!

  • Very funny how the Harmonica player moved during the music

  • Wow. For once music that has some LIFE on syndicated TV.

  • Where the hell is Rob Bacon???

  • @TheTunesmithsKY Rob is there!! in the back, left side... look for the black Gangsta hat!! peace

  • Raphael Saadiq holding it down for the real music of life. Thank you.

  • I keep listening to this live version. This song feels so good. I remember speaking with the drummer at a Saddiq show. I expressed to him how good his pocket feels. Just love the energy. The bass line is flowin. The male backgound vocalist sang gospel. ps...........................GO ERICA!

  • This has got to be my jam of the year so far!
