@cbass5511 He was only stronger than Arnold in deadlifts and squats because of his short legs. Arnold had a very long body structure, which is why his max squat was 500 lbs and 700 lbs for deadlifts (Franco could squat nearly 600 lbs and 733 lbs for deadlifts).

Franco was a midget who did not have the total body strength of a tall man and it clearly showed in the 1977 Strongest Man Competition where tall men (including Lou Ferrigno) destroyed Franco Columbo in total body strength.
