  • They've improved this product guys,I just brought one works great for me,the problem that you guys are stating about the head popping off is fixed now. With the newer model the screws are in the pole to sturdy it so the head wont pop off. Really cool and if you're debating water or sand I say do the water works perfectly. And if you stay in a apartment try placing it on a mat or a towel so you dont disturb the neighbors below.... ;)

  • I highly recommend that nobody buys this product. I bought one to help improve my standup for my MMA and i popped the head off the pole in less than a week of usage. Totally garbage product. If you are going to take your training a little more serious (4+ hours a day), then buy a heavy duty reflex bag.

  • 50 bucks??? damn that shit cost like 150 dollars up here in Canada :/

  • @pinolero13 $70 where I'm at in New York at modells, it's $80 on AmazonDOTcom though. I'm trying to decide between this for cardio, the Cardio bag for around $90 or the heavy bag for $100-$120 which will also give you cardio. I want something that cna take a punch, and people giving the free standing heavy bag bad reviews and everyone I've seen is not punching it hard, just moderate or incorrectly. The heavy ones I've seen being punched hard free standing are from $130-$400.

  • @Shadowlooker12 yeah It seems kind of delicate too, like if you punch it too hard it might snap. Maybe its good for technique, but if you want to work on power, the heavy bag is the way to go. Im thinking of getting the everlast heavy duty relfex bag,its more durable from what i heard.

  • @pinolero13 Good idea, If I didn't live in an apartment I'd get a hanging heavy bag, can't really go wrong there. I need the cardio, but wanted to work on power, this is why I wanted a free standing heavy bag. There's other ways to get a cardio workout though, jogging, treadmill, jumping jacks, running in place etc.my only choice would be to either fork over the $130-$400 which I was trying to avoid, do without, or make a custom heavy bag with a yoga mat and things I see others doing

  • I keep hitting mine out of the tube, had to drill a hole and put pin in to keep it in place.

And stop lifting your power leg when you punch...

  • is it safe to do this kind of training with glasses?

  • Thank you.

  • Gotta question, where can i get a good one cause when i first got it i busted it off with my first 10 punches

  • I got this for my 12 yr old son. I saw a great improvement in his jabs and combo set ups. He's almost ready to start on the speed bag.

  • Can you tell me what program you use to put the video at slow motion?

  • @GoldenRing1989 No disrespect my man, But NEVER EVER EVER MIX WATER IN WITH YOU'RE SAND WHEN IT DRIES IT EXPANDS AND CRACKS THE PLASTIC AROUND IT

  • I've had one for a year, I use it to practice elbows.

  • Hey good review but I actually broke this bag the first 10 minutes I had it and I spar a good bit.

  • How much space does this take? I imagine the circular swinging makes this piece of equipment occupy a larger area than just the physical stand does.

  • why is that reflex bag like goes down so easy? i need this kind then

  • Comment removed

  • i think it should be called fun bag instead of reflex bag. its juz like a toy, a very slow toy. >.<

  • will water hold it down really well? or is sand better? because i tried to put sand in it, and it takes forever the hole is just so narrow it won't even take it..

  • @darkside3704 yes I use water as a weight for mine. Does the job and doesn't move around.

  • @60DayswithNatJones water and sand...

  • @cyber8000 what you think of my reflex bag video can you give me some pointers and tips! thanks so much !!!

  • Everything is okay, but you should take off your glasses :) you can get hurt.

  • you look like malcom x

  • only problem with this bag. is when you hit it hard. the bag part a start turning and the head a break right off. i only got to use mine 3 times damn shame. a lil pissed at this shit.

  • This is a shitty reflex bag do not buy it

The only reflex bag i recommend is cobra model by Ringside

The everlast for some reason are worst then kid toy they just break up in piece.

    Oh and its damn slow

  • does not feel good when it hits you

  • HAHA! dude i wish i had mine on video, is your vid on your channel? this thing SUCKS btw LOL

  • this thing completely sucks. my 3rd day using it i punched it, the bag flew off, and the metal pole came back and struck me in my face. i guess i shoulda gotten out of the way but i was watching the bag still not knowing it was detatched. i HIGHLY recommend going with the "title boxing" brand instead, looks like it works better from what i've seen on other youtube vids

  • @rotomemphis Hahaha, Same here I used it 3 days also and bent the pole and knocked the bag off. I didnt have my reciept and lost 20 bucks when i took it back. I actually had recorded me hitting the bag when it fell apart.

  • can u lower it if ure unger

  • Thanks for the review. 2 Questions:

    1. What type of gloves are you using?

    2. How hard is the bag?

  • @aaarsix, Those are speed bag gloves which cost about $10. You can use those or buy hand wraps. The bag isn't particularly hard...

  • I love this bag!!! if you run around the thing punching you really get that heart beat up there!

  • i broke mine the same day i got it "christmas" , not sure if there was something wrong with it or if maybe i just hit it too hard . im trying to find how to use it . ive got a new one , havent open it yet . im a thai boxing thats looking to punch, kick elbow and get some knees in the if i can

  • @opethmerlin

That thing is there to train your "Reflexes" so dont hit it hard just like jabs then it will not Breake :)

    Im sorry for bad englisch

  • i juss got one for christmas :D

  • @DvUSoldiers Same here man

  • @DvUSoldiers i also received one

  • @DvUSoldiers Haha same

  • the everlast reflex bag blows get one that has the springs near the top much better rebound time

  • yea i hav this reflex bag and i hav a problem knocking the head off anyone hav this problem???

  • lol u suck

shorten it 2 make it move faster n practice

  • isn't that bag a bit slow? The one at my gym is way faster than that

  • cool

  • The everlast reflex bag is a piece of total junk & a waste of money. If the ball comes lose off the metal pipe it`s attached to (which it does if a grown man hits it) there`s no way of fixing it. Just a waste of money nothing else.

  • pwnage at 1:08

  • This is great really really great i bought this for my 8 and 10 year old and it is awesome they love it is great!

  • can the reflex bag be kicked or take knee strikes? anyone know? thanks

  • @mel2thegibson I personally kick mines, keep in mind that it was made to be punched. I just received a product called the coordination bag which you can kick and punch my review of it will be up soon.

  • @mel2thegibson u can kick it but not hit it with ur knee so

  • @mel2thegibson I would not try kicking mine, because a kick could possibly distroy it becasue of the sheer power it packs, plus you risk catching your foot on the steel bar, it could break a foot.

  • @mel2thegibson just be careful if kicking

  • hello! i can see that you have the erverlast everflex free standing bag. I'm thinking to get one. Can you make a rewiev for it, tell me is it good? Imthinking to train hard :)

  • @MrSuperbpk I would love too! Presently trying to get companies to send me stuff so I can do just what your asking for. So far it is a up hill battle.

  • Please review the coordination punching bag

I like that you can kick and knee it, as well as, punch it

I would like your feedback Thank you

  • Way too slow in my opinion, mainly due to the spring being so low. I think the Cobra Reflex bag is far superior, but that's just me. As far as Everlast, it should have excellent reliability so it may beat out the Cobra bag in that department. I just wish it weren't so slow. Screw lowering it and putting it in a chair, you shouldn't have to do that.

  • mine the lilttle bag starts to fall off little by little does it happen to u ?

  • @gokito2000 Not yet

  • @60DayswithNatJones do i need to wear gloves for it or not? and if i do what kind of gloves?

  • @GhettoTilliDae, they sell the speed bag gloves for about $10. You can also buy wraps which are relatively inexpensive but take a while to put on and take off. Some form of hand protection is recommended because it can be easy to damage your hands and knuckles simply from the force and friction.

  • @gokito2000 nope then again i have it at the smallest height im a kid :D

  • i was kicking that thing and it kept getting torn on the inside of the bag i returned it dont know if i should get it again i really liked it but it got torn!?!?!

  • That sucks man I wish I had a relationship with Everlast they should replace it for you. I kick mine as well no issues yet. However I don't think it was built to be kick at. On the other hand if I had a brand named Everlast I would make sure my product stood up to everything. Thanks for the heads up.

  • my dad has just boguht me this as a bday present but i find it really slow

so slow it does not train my reflexes in punching etc at all...

how do i speed it up??

  • @1stPanda put it down as low as it will go, and put in up on a chair, it will be ALOT faster

  • i think is 1 of the best workouts u can do..

  • I bought one today and I loved it. LOVED IT! I have used heavy bags before but this is fun. I recommend it!

  • @misstrejo Thats nice to hear I just copped one off ebay for $50,I started to get the Title bag but I wanted a smaller bag to improve my accuracy. I wish I had known Ross sold em for $20 it's all good tho. Check out the video called "Tank hittin the reflex Bag" the bag they have at the gym from what I can see is like the Silver bullet. It moves much faster and it bends in the middle I may get one of those next but for now I'm sticking with this, thanx.

  • dont waste 50 bucks on it go to ross and get it for 20

  • Mine exploded in 3 sessions

  • hands up!

  • yeah, i got that reflex bag from acadamy for $50 itts good bag

  • I got it for twenty bucks at Ross. It is awesome. Thanks for explaining how to use it.

  • This bag is epic!!! This will definately help my evading and striking focus...!

  • i got mine today for my birthday, the thing rocks and its easy to set up. ive been hitting it hard enough to make the head hit the floor and boun ce off and so far it holds up great.

  • I like it... You just have to remember to tighten it up before you use it... For 60 bucks, you can't go wrong.. It is a lot of fun!

  • Very good reveiew

  • @blanning095 Thank you for your feed back.

  • @60DayswithNatJones u should do a comparison of the everlast reflex bag and title silver bullet reflex bag

  • @60DayswithNatJones u should do a review of the title reflex bag and compare it to the everlast reflex bag

  • Get it on Amazon for $57 no tax, free shipping. It took about a week to arrive.

  • the ball keeps falling off when i punch mine

  • I found this on walmart's website for $38 with $5 shipping or free site-to-store, but both were a over a week to ship, so I printed the ad and brought it to my local Sport Chalet store and they matched the price, even though they were selling it for $80. I love this thing, I currently live in an apartment so it's the only thing that really fits well and it's easier to put together and a lot of fun.

  • I just pickup a Everlast Reflex Bag., I love it!!

  • I just pickup a Everlast Reflex Bag., I love it!!

  • idk man 5 stars? i have one and the metal piece that the actual bag is on is a p.o.s..... id say 3 or 4 stars. the bags not too bad but it doesnt seem alike a piece of equipment that should have the everlast name on it.

  • thanks for the honest review

  • I was thinking about this, but I heard it was pretty bad. However, as you said for $50, I guess you can't go wrong.

  • @MirageR5 i got it 5 days ago..and on the 2nd day the bag came off..it ripped..i dont recommend it.

  • @soccermusiclife This reflex bag should last if not abused. I know of them lasting years in a gym when used properly. I'd bet that you are strong and lined up some pretty solid shots. Judging by your name I'm wondering if you kicked it too. If you want to whail on a bag, get a heavy bag.

  • that works your refexes great

  • yeah for 50$ it's worth it.

  • I just check for the reflex bag at walmart, it now down to $30!

  • dude yea i no!!!! thts insane but u have to order it online dont u?

  • @rphilmacrac Yes, but they have site to store which allows you to save on shipping. Not bad considering there are places online that want $90 for it.

  • yea so i can order it then pick it up at the store right

  • Yes, let me know what you think when you get it.

  • will do man thanks alot

  • wait one more question in sports authority do i still have to order it

  • Sports Authority has it in store I would call a head. Also it cost more there, last time I checked it was 59.90. If you sign up for their email program you can get coupons that will give you $10 -$25 off depending how much you spend. Walmart so far has the best deal around.

  • yea i no but i dont feel like ordering it so i guess ill go to sports authorit y and do u no where i can get a floor to ceiling bag

  • I agree its a pretty good bag it really sucks when you forget to re-tighten it and it goes flying through your house though..

  • thanks for the review man. this thing looks pretty good and it's a good price too. they have a free standing punching back like the one in the corner except it has a spring on it. i'm wonderin how it works

  • @thnk4urself do you have the name of this product? I haven't seen it. I am interested in checking it out.

  • It's the Everlast Flexneck Johnny Combo. I think it may be new. I read more closely & it says that the flexible collar is for shock absorption. Seems like a good design. It was in the Dick's sporting goods flyer for 119.99.

  • @thnk4urself It does look pretty solid. The one I have is a old Century Wave Master. I believe it only holds up to 150lbs of water. It gets knock around pretty easily. Also it doesn't feel like a heavy bag when I hit it. It's more like a medium bag feel. I was going to get a freestanding heavy bag stand and a heavy bag. Maybe I will try this out. I will keep you updated. Thanks for your reply. I will have some other workout reviews and product reviews coming up, stay tuned.

  • the wavemaster's pad is also a lil thin. They do rock around pretty good so that's why I'm thinking the Flexneck is probably a good idea. It seems from this video that the Reflex bag stays pretty still but does it? I've seen other people tape em down but It looks like it stays put

  • where did you get it for $50?

  • @catcher217 I got it at Sports Authority with a $10 coupon. If you sign up for their email / offer program they will send you discounts. You can get it for $42 at walmart.

Get more information links to buy from the review section of my site.

  • the walmart one is tht just as good

  • @rphilmacrac - this is the same bag. So yes it is just as good, it now down to 30! at walmart.

  • 30 on amazon man go for it free shiping and all i'm about to =]]

  • What did oyu fill your base with?

  • The base handles up to 60 lbs of water or sand. I filled mine up with water. Be careful not to over fill it or it will leak. N-

  • Thanks. I did not want to get it and it fly everytime I hit it
