Dodged a bullet on that one I guess...I would have watched the first episode to check it out...but probably wouldn't have continued to watch...it would have been better if they just did a remake of the Wonder Woman series of the 70's.

@dignerds She only killed Medusa, Maxwell Lord, and several monsters and demons in the comics and in the case of Maxwell Lord and Medusa, it was mostly out of bad writing considering how she has refused to kill beings who were far more monstrous and put her in similar situations like Darkseid and Circe. Its one a same level of out of character writing like Hal Jordon going on a mass murder killing spree or Spider-Man making a deal with the devil.

I've just seen the big fight scene, and yes, it's AWFUL ;-) It's a shame they didn't realise earlier that they were going down the wrong road, and to just start again; but sometimes when you're in it, you can't see it!! Here's to the next reboot, I think someone else will try again, I'd go early 'Smallville' style to start, then the audience can grow the characters. (just not as boring as early Smallville please).

@AJAT800 I didn't think the Aquaman pilot was that bad although I would have keep the same guy from the series as Aquaman insteads of Justin Hartley and not have Aquaman tell so many corny jokes that seemed more like Green Arrow than Aquaman. Fight scene with Siren was pretty good.

I agree with you, this movie pilot was awful. Veronica Gale was the only interesting character. Everyone else seemed to be zoned out. Wonder Woman was angry, hostile for no reason not even Xena like Amazon.
I thought the pilot was okay. I agree the way she was depicted as vengeful was one of the biggest issues. I really didn't like how she actually killed and had no problem with vengeance or torture as that's not what her character is supposed to be like at all.
@MrDirector786 This was not the true nature of Wonder Woman. If she had to deal with beings as powerful as, or more powerful than herself, then it would be justifiable. But she was angry the entire time. I didn't see the real Diana in this at all. She was too masculine. This is NOT Xena 2011.
@olnightstar69 Its the character. In the New Adveture sof WW ther were times when they made Linda Carter (LC) very agresssive, but she was still very beautiful and feminine. But even back in the day when they tried to make WW or Jamie Sommers to masculine it just didn't work. You can't start off with the girl next door or a beautiful woman and then try to turn her into a modern day feminist! Wont work.

Doesn't Superman or any of the other JLA were planned to show up on the show at all? That means that this show was going to be as bad as "Birds of Pray".... what sucks is that, she has powers.

Even the clips of the WW pilot looked bad. The costume is cheesy and cheap looking like the critic said. I'm glad it wasn't picked up.

This pilot sounds like a parody of Wonder Woman at best..... But not even a good one. Off suggest i want to see a Booster Gold or Nolanverse like Batman TV series. At least the writers might care enough about Batman to try to make a good new Batman Tv series. Off subject but sorta true. I'm glad Bruce Wayne did not show up on Smallville. lol

@Ikarosus Smallville does'nt fit into the comic book storyline they even killed off Jimmy Olsen before Clark even got his costume, Pete Ross should be blonde, Lana should be a redhead, Wonder Twins should be aliens not Caucasians and weren't dark enough and only monkey was on backpack. Justice League had Impulse & Cyborg & no Flash or Steel. Female Super Heroine called Vengenace but no Wonder Woman. No Batman. Green Arrow's asisstant Speedy should be guy not girl.

@AJAT800 I didn't think the Aquaman pilot was that bad although I would have keep the same guy from the series as Aquaman insteads of Justin Hartley and not have Aquaman tell so many corny jokes that seemed more like Green Arrow than Aquaman. Fight scene with Siren was pretty good.

So many other villians she could fight. Truthfully her role as a super hero has always been second rate. They just don't know what to do with her. The new lead must be as beautiful and "feminine" as Linda Carter or she wont stand a chance.

I agree with you, this movie pilot was awful. Veronica Gale was the only interesting character. Everyone else seemed to be zoned out. Wonder Woman was angry, hostile for no reason not even Xena like Amazon.

I thought the pilot was okay. I agree the way she was depicted as vengeful was one of the biggest issues. I really didn't like how she actually killed and had no problem with vengeance or torture as that's not what her character is supposed to be like at all.

@MrDirector786 This was not the true nature of Wonder Woman. If she had to deal with beings as powerful as, or more powerful than herself, then it would be justifiable. But she was angry the entire time. I didn't see the real Diana in this at all. She was too masculine. This is NOT Xena 2011.

@olnightstar69 Its the character. In the New Adveture sof WW ther were times when they made Linda Carter (LC) very agresssive, but she was still very beautiful and feminine. But even back in the day when they tried to make WW or Jamie Sommers to masculine it just didn't work. You can't start off with the girl next door or a beautiful woman and then try to turn her into a modern day feminist! Wont work.

Personally, I think the Wonder Woman costume from back in the day and even the one used here is really cheesy. I hope that for the movie, they use the new costume that has a more modern look to it.
