Actually, if you were to read the bible, a bit after Cain kills Able, this theory is probably wrong. When God tells Cain to wander the desert after he committed the first murder, he said something about others seeing him and wanting to hurt him, so God put a mark on him so that others won't harm him, I think. Actually, if you were to read the bible, a bit after Cain kills Able, this theory is probably wrong. When God tells Cain to wander the desert after he committed the first murder, he said something about others seeing him and wanting to hurt him, so God put a mark on him so that others won't harm him, I think. So that pretty much tells me that there were others out in the world. Some of my facts may be wrong, point them out if they are.

1) There is no scientific markings of a global deluge, however there was a great deluge in Iraq at the time of Noah and there are markings to prove it.
2) I have heard scientifically, there is no way to gather all living things of the world into the biblical Noah's boat--it would have taken 30 years, manpower, animals dying, propagating, feeding, cleaning ect. However, there is a possibility of all the animals in the area where Noah lived being put in a boat.

I don't get the question. The fact is that humanity began with one man and one woman. So obviously we all came from a rather concentrated gene pool. That does not make God pro-incest, He is quite clear about that in scripture. But you have to start somewhere. I am not christian but I am starting to read the bible just to understand christianity. To answer your question, No... I don't think Adam and Eve populated the entire world. As far as the story goes, it seems like they weren't the only humans created by God. I could be wrong!

he just brought up one of the many imposibilities in the bible, the human race could not have just started with adam and eve, it takes at least 50 individuals of a species, none of the same family line to propogate. otherwise the species would die from genetic diseases as a result of inbreeding.

@xClaraJaynex of course they don't die that instant, however, say your the offspring of parents that were at least cousins, and say you mated with someone that was a close relative, sure your children could survive, but over time, with generation after generation of inbreeding families or races will die out because of genetic diseases, it's one of the fundamental truths about biology and heredity, but don't take my word for it, look all of this up.

Is Christianity pro-incest? HELL YES. Apart from Cain going into the Land of Nod and taking a wife (must have been his sister), consider the story of Lot's daughters getting him drunk and having sex with him "to preserve his seed" (Genesis 19:31-36). Oh and notice something about this story - no divine retribution like God and visited on Sodom and Gomorrah for the sexual perversions the people of those towns practised. Therefore, the Bible is hopelessly pro-incest.

may i have permission to say that god in the old testament allowed incest to be a part of humanity, because yes, how else would they develope and become more of? it was not a sin back in that time.. but god forbid incest because, sin caused there to be diseases when for ex a mom have sex with her son, creating the fetus, would be a total freak of nature.. incest is sodomy, just like rape, murder, and pretty much all evil shit that exists on this round rock we live on

Correction: God made people, THEN made adam and eve. Adam and Eve were his special children that
