my thinking is at the moment your mate strikes your small shield,strike his hand at the same moment not just block and then 2 secound later make a strike

secound when he does a type of rising strike that dose not allow you to strike his hand use your buckler to smoother his weapon hand like a fireblanket would smoother a fire

This are just thoughts,You can try them out of not your choice.

lol, these guys suck, I can tell, they do not show in ANY way that they know anything about machete fighting, it looks like Zulu stick fighting with machetes, I practice hatian machete fighting, and the style is in no way like this peice of shit videos

Ya they do but James at least has a martial arts stance so he cant take much more punishment to legs and has better balance
