@TheVerbalAxiom You're kidding right? goblin zombie grabs hand advantage and search capability / pitch flexibility when used to synchro or tribute (he is primary synchro material), also he gives you a search even when dark hole / torrential / vortex / black rose / scrap dragon or any destroy effect kills him. He is also a DARK monster, contributing to DAD and chaos. Pyramid is a mediocre search / stall card that is easy to work around. What if turtle gets ryko'd? dark holed? goblin is better
@Kelzakian Alright, Hand Advantage= Mediocre. I have 2 cards in my hand, opponent has about 5 and i STILL pull of an easy win. Turtle won't get ryko'd LOL Goblin is just awful compared to Turtle, I get more monster. I beat down my opponent quicker.
@TheVerbalAxiom What are you gonna beat him down with? A zombie master? Thats the thing if you are playing top tier decks (six sams, tengu plants, frognarchs, inferns, tg, glads, GK, etc) you wont have time to suicide your turtle. I mean turtle is nice, but there is so much rampant destruction. i mean if you run CS / beat down zombies then you most often wont win against top decks anyway, but this is a primary synchro based deck, which turtle doesnt fit too well.
@Kelzakian My community...to be honest does NOT roll many top tier decks. I actually went up against a decent opponent and saw the of having goblins, I managed to crashed my turtle a few times, but when it came down to it. The goblin zombie helped me more about 2:1 more than the turtle did. And WTF @ Trishula being THAT overpowered, if I catch a glimpse of a dude running this, and he challenges me,I'm walking away lol. My deck isnt terrible, but its not super good YET, work in progress

Like i just finished my frog monarchs (mostly), and its a BLAST, and its top tier too (its the cheapest top tier i think) and its been raping. Lol, its so different than zombies, kind of a relief. Have you ever tried making a Zombie Swap deck, im trying to perfect it, it mainly revolves around obviously creature swap abusing pyramids 2000 def grave summon and tomatoes and giant rat. I would be honored if you could give me some tips on how to shape it into a more competitive deck.
@Kingaskong1234 Check out my zombie deck version 1. My original zombie deck (version 1) revovled around creature swaps and abusing pyramid turtles' 2000 def or lower. BUT, as you verse people higher up this becomes obsolete as Compulse / solemn warnings are more prominent than bottomless. So they just dont allow you to have monsters if you are too slow or trying to "set up" for a swap play. If you're deck doesnt have explosion capability as zombies, then you are doomed to fail eventually.
@Kelzakian Its good for lower tier play though, id say almost unstoppable because it is very consistent, but often time creature swap started to become a dead draw as now there are so many smart ways to get around not attack a facedown or recovering from a swap play, or negating spells, etc etc. Most decks can explode from turn 1 or 2 and have like 2-3 big monsters on the field or have so much negate power like Six Sams or Inferns

Each Trishula is 50 bucks each, brionac is like 15? the rest of the synchros combined are probably like 40-50 total.
The actual deck: I'd estimate 100? Not much of it is too high in rarity, and the most expensive cards would be Glow-Up Bulb. Even plaguespreader is uber cheap now. dandy COULD be expensive, just be smart on what version you get. So i'd say 200-250 total guess

@Kelzakian As i said this deck costs this much if you buy it all, and most of the money is the extra deck. Most of these cards you could easily get off trades. People give up search cards often, and most of the magics / traps are staples everyone has spares of. ALSO Allure / Mirror force / Solemn judgment all come out of starter decks now (i got solemn in the newest fairy starter deck).
As for a real cheap budget deck take a look at version 1 or 2 of my deck, they work well and r much cheaper
@Kelzakian Also if you can buy the zombie starter deck (the newer one with red eyes zombie dragon), buy 2 of them as that should get you a decent chunk of what you need (like 2 zombie masters, pots of avarice which i now use in the deck, etc). As for important cards like Plaguespreader, Dark armed, gorz, chaos, all that you probably gonna have to buy or get good trades (i just made smart trades for them)
i could really use a tutorial on yu gi oh. i recently bought like 3 decks, (zombie world, duelists toolbox, and socerrer's ---(something)) and i just plan on playing with friends. i could use a guide on what decks to buy for a zombie type deck AND how to use it. i really like zombie cards so i hope you can make a tutorial :D
@lucymydog1995 as i said im going to be putting up tutorial videos soon on alot of the elements to the game. AS far as zombies go there are a few ways to play them. Honestly my deck Version 1 and this deck (version 3) are COMPLETELY different decks and both work ok (this one better though). I'd say look at my first deck and try for something like that. It abuses creature swap and pyramid turtle's affect. My first tutorial i think will be on the phases of the game.

Ya but you gotta realize how incredibly lucky that first hand you just described is. He had no Necro first turn, you had royal first turn, you WENT FIRST, AND you nobled spy. That is like 100% best opening aside from like an OTK semi synchro spam opening. Granted i know it can beat GK's, but its just more difficult than other match ups. THIS CURRENT TYPE of build is having some troubles with Legendary Six Sams too. Trying to fix that (mostly lack of warnings)
I was paired with gk,s and my zombie deck beat the shit out of gravekeepers I went first set royal decree and nobleman of crossout with a goblin zombie. They set 4 backrow then I chain decree they then set spy and end. On my turn I flip nobleman and kill his spies then summon gale synche with goblin and they called scoop
1. No necro valley
2. No spy to special summon and swarm the field
And
3. No traps to stop me
I side in noblemans/shield crush/smashing grounds and it usually puts gks in a
I see I just got an ehren for my lightsworn deck and it is really good but I like D.D warrior lady because noone expects it in a zombie deck and it,s hilarious when they attack it. Anyways nice deck and if possible do a duel video I would like to see that deck play a gravekeeper deck.
@MrYoudobetter Lol there are no GK's around here, my friend is almost done with his though, so this may be real soon. I dunno how it'd fair seeing as how GK's are almost an exact counter. I'd think that if my early set up went poor at first it would probably just tumble from there, its hard to recover against GK's. We'll see.
@MrYoudobetter Decently good. Better if it was a third Ryko. I'm already making alterations. Granted im just making a second deck really, a plant/zombie synchro engine deck. But ya she kills Shi-En's and other important synchros, her only issue is she takes up a normal summon and its hard to special her.
Not in this version, Il Blud is too slow for the way this deck is built, also there isnt an easy way to summon him and honestly there arent THAT many zombies in this deck. Zombies are more of an engine to increase speed. With only 1 pyramid turtle it''d be too hard to get Il Blud out. Try Il Blud of version 1 or 2 of my deck
I've been net testing this deck on duelingnetwork too and it seems to do real well. The only issues i've run into thus far are other OTK decks that get their set up before mine or the fact that some decks are just simply an uphill battle (professional six sams, some dragunities, variations of SSD otk decks, etc). I've decided that for most of the meta the bottomless' should be 2 compulses or 2 warnings. But the deck holds its own and does great, with the right set up OTK's so quick.
Well, Trishula is limited. I guess Mist Wurm is a good replacement. So you have won other tournaments with this deck, too?

I see I just got an ehren for my lightsworn deck and it is really good but I like D.D warrior lady because noone expects it in a zombie deck and it,s hilarious when they attack it. Anyways nice deck and if possible do a duel video I would like to see that deck play a gravekeeper deck.

@MrYoudobetter Lol there are no GK's around here, my friend is almost done with his though, so this may be real soon. I dunno how it'd fair seeing as how GK's are almost an exact counter. I'd think that if my early set up went poor at first it would probably just tumble from there, its hard to recover against GK's. We'll see.

I am glad you finally got a mezuki for your deck as well as the ryko but I was wondering. How does D.D warrior lady do in your deck?

@MrYoudobetter Decently good. Better if it was a third Ryko. I'm already making alterations. Granted im just making a second deck really, a plant/zombie synchro engine deck. But ya she kills Shi-En's and other important synchros, her only issue is she takes up a normal summon and its hard to special her.

Not in this version, Il Blud is too slow for the way this deck is built, also there isnt an easy way to summon him and honestly there arent THAT many zombies in this deck. Zombies are more of an engine to increase speed. With only 1 pyramid turtle it''d be too hard to get Il Blud out. Try Il Blud of version 1 or 2 of my deck

I've been net testing this deck on duelingnetwork too and it seems to do real well. The only issues i've run into thus far are other OTK decks that get their set up before mine or the fact that some decks are just simply an uphill battle (professional six sams, some dragunities, variations of SSD otk decks, etc). I've decided that for most of the meta the bottomless' should be 2 compulses or 2 warnings. But the deck holds its own and does great, with the right set up OTK's so quick.
