  • "No alarms and no surprises please." Radiohead me retrata como poucos...

  • the feelings I have for Radiohead's music are beyond explainable

  • ooohh Radiohead...

  • I love Radiohead and Muse, What is the problem?

  • @Beerlover2007 Muse =/= Radiohead

They are both equally brilliant in different ways. The only problem is sometimes they have a similar feel. But then again, look at pop music and tell me that there isn't plagiarism round every corner...

  • I just love the sound of the xylophone

  • @101freakshow

That's not a Xylophone, it's a Glockenspiel. Xylos is the greek word for wood.

  • Actually I find the superfans pretty cool , they have some interesting things to say......

  • they will playing in Portugal in July, 2012. i´m already on countdown mode :D

  • A job that slowly kills you

    Bruises that won't heal

  • I really don't see many similarities between muse and radiohead, they're just both incredibly talented bands who happen to have rabid fan bases.

  • QUE MIEDO TOCAR ANTE TANTA GENTE

  • Not lying when I say that every time I listen to Radiohead a tear escapes me, perhaps because of their incredible music, perhaps because there is little likelihood that know ... or maybe because there never will be one like them.

(I don´t speak english very well, sorry for the mistakes)

  • The most beautiful songs often tell the saddest stories...

  • love this song

  • I think this video shouldn't have a dislike buttom. It's impossible that someone dislike this song.

  • @MsChec shit top comment attempt

  • 243,344 and 3 dislikes, that is all. Sensational.

  • I love the "Get me outta here" in the background.

  • @ascrodin pfft just coz u need ur art spoonfed to you.idiot.

  • jonny greenwood is a genius.

  • i want to be thom's kid :\

  • youtube, dont tell me to watch muse after this..

why would i want to a crappier version of what i just watched..

  • @adamgergich96 i fucking hate my fellow radiohead fans. stop comparing muse and radiohead. i love both.

  • @jokez112 Ahahah, check this guy out. Liking Radiohead AND Muse *wipes tear from eye*

  • @adamgergich96 Good question :)

  • @adamgergich96 I like Muse. They're great, too.

  • SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS

  • @GivenAlone i guess I'm expected to reply with an argument, but i have to say that was a pretty witty reply. I promise that's not what I was implying, i just feel like people have a stereotype of people my age, that we all listen to rap music and 'pretentious' modern crap, when in fact there are people my age that listen to music like this as well..

  • Comment removed

  • this is a great example of the best ever ROCK band :)

  • you're epic. and all of those bands, exceptional! i'm only 13, most people think i have a shit music taste because of all the modern crap that they put on tv, i think people need to be musically educated by people like us!:')

  • @elegantslumming1 exelent comment

  • dude? I'm into some weird music, but radiohead?? now some, key word SOME of the parts in some of their songs are good, but for the most part, I feel if I listen to them too long I suddenly get the urge to put a gun in my mouth

  • i'm addicted to radiohead, thom voice is so amazing, and i love jonny too.

  • "Bring down the government, cause they don't speak for us." oh how I'd love to do that here in America. Thom's words are amazing!

  • such a pretty house and such a pretty garden

  • I have no idea why, but the part of the song that goes "I'll take a quiet life, a handshake of carbon monoxide" has always been the most beautiful part of this song for me...

  • @daffodil977 Me too:)

  • @daffodil977 Same here

  • There are no new anthems any more.

  • @wahfaringstrangerrob Correction:

SOME songs on Muse's first album Showbiz are SIMILAR to some Radiohead songs.

  • MUSE WILL NEVER BECOME LIKE THIS

THEY WIlLL NEVER ASCEND TO THE LEVEL OF ULTIMATE BEAUTY THAT MAKES RADIOHEAD SO AMAZING!!

  • They dont speak for us...

  • people disliking,

people coming up with clever things to say about the people disliking,

    No surprises

  • Awesome song..u also might wanna try

    Watermind - "Not Again"

    long live for RADIOHEAD!!!!

  • People take pride in being alive during The Beatles and other legends. I just smile knowing that I'll take pride in being alive during the best band in the history of music.

  • Love the music, can't stand the superfans and their pretentious comments.

  • 3 people are full of surprises and alarms

  • I have a religion. The name is Radiohead.

  • I have a religion. The name is Radiohead.

  • @wahfaringstrangerrob ok, Stockholm syndrome, name the song? and Hyper Music... And starlight.. and falling down. and Hate this and i'll love you... seriously, you don't know ANYTHING.. you are so fucking stupid. Give Muse a try and i'm sure if you take down your shield, you would like their music very much..

  • @BluesBreakerJerry seriously why the hell does it matter whos better than the other just stfu and enjoy the song

  • @leariox9xxx I think you didn't understand my comment.. I just said that every muse song wasn't ripped by a song on OK Computer.. I didn't say that muse was better?? I just disagreed jerk.. Then YOU stfu and enjoy the song ...

  • Geniall.!

  • @wahfaringstrangerrob Soooooooooo so right!! :)

  • ed's messing up at 0:38

  • everyone type "gift" before youtube url and press enter

  • stupid off-beat claps, ruin the song. but, radiohead kicks ass.

  • one mistake!!!! i can't believe it.... at...

  • Muse and Radiohead NEED to do a collaboration! :)

  • @michaeljackson407 I don't see the benefits of that, it'd just sound like a Muse or a Radiohead song, there would be nothing individual about it. Now, if Thom Yorke featured on a hip-hop track, that would be interesting.

  • @michaeljackson407

No they don´t... Waste of time...

  • @michaeljackson407 I totally agree!

  • Damn good band.

  • Jonny Greenwood's amazing at whatever he plays, even the xylophone!

  • what a beautiful melody and guitar line. like field of fucking flowers.

  • Every single time I need someone to listen to me I listen to Radiohead, isn't that great?

  • What I wouldn't give to have been there.

  • I can see the sky here. 1:14

  • @rubms90

i saw justin bieber in the sky too...

  • @PinoyAbnoy Will you (and people like you) fuck off. JB doesn't need to be mentioned in every single video on youtube and definitely not a Radiohead one.

  • @rubms90 00:00 - 4:02 i can fly :)

  • @Transjm AHAHHAH GOOD ONE

  • Such a pretty song...

  • it sez alot when the like-dislike ratio is 511-3 ‡->

  • Only 3 dislikes!! :)

  • @B0DSKI and only 534 likes.

  • @Davination MADNESS!!!!

  • @B0DSKI this is SPAAAAAAARTA!!!

  • @B0DSKI this is SPAAAAAAARTA!!!

  • this song is awesome!

  • A band like Radiohead only comes around once in a life time. They deserve to be placed on the same level as The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and the like. All that's left is for them to stand the test of time.

  • @namelessfire I reckon Radiohead will indeed survive the test of Time. Songs like Creep, Karma Police, Reckoner, Paranoid Android, No Surprises, they will all be listen in 30 years.

  • @namelessfire ironicly enough all from england. they must be making history for the queen

  • @namelessfire For a baby boomer that comes out to five times in a lifetime.

  • @lackofwil2 Not to mention all the bands he listed are from the same few years. Besides, Radiohead's better than The Who and Led Zeppelin put together.

  • @Grmo19 Radiohead's better than every band ever formed put together*

  • @Grmo19 No. Radiohead is without a doubt the best band on the planet right now. But Led Zeppelin is probably the 2nd best band ever behind the Beatles. But hey, everyone is entitled to an opinion.

  • @rockbox122 It sounds like you're agreeing and disagreeing with me at the same time

    I AM CONFUSE

  • @Grmo19 That's because I love them to death...but not better than Zeppelin.

  • @namelessfire the who...really?

  • @kyostimusic Yes sir

  • @namelessfire, they are better than the beatles.

  • thats ok cecileubanks dont try and explain it because at the end of the day when u think it the beatles are not a patch on radiohead when it comes to raw talent and upmost genius im sorry to all you "stuck in the past " delinquents but this is as good as its ever gonna get. OK COMPUTER IS BIGGER THAN THE BIBLE DEAL WITH IT!!!!

  • We are in the presence of GREATNESS here

  • inacreditável....

  • beauty in its essence

  • so overwhelming and still cannot find proper words to spell for radiohead's music...

  • Every generation produces remarkable musicians and Radiohead are certainly in that category in my book. I'm 56 years old and love everything from ABBA to Rory Gallagher. It all comes down to taste mind you i've always thought Duran Duran were shite and still do!

  • I love Radiohead, but that doesn't mean I am blinded by love. This performance was mediocre at best, Jonny messes up the piano in the beginning, and Thom's voice is pitchy throughout almost the entire song. I love Radiohead but I wish they were less lazy live (usually Thom just sings with bad pitch)

  • This song reminds me of my old job. The mood is pretty much how the job made me feel

  • @lilvjdude Same here. The day I can give notice and bid farewell to the set of smug, miserable fuckers that by and large work there will be a happy one ;-)

  • Ok all you beatles haters need to get your heads out of your asses they were a very influencial band and made a very big impact on music. I personally got think they got more credit then they deserved but still a great band. I think that Pink floyd is the greatest band of all time with radiohead at a close second. I say that because Pink Floyd was first and they were the pioneers of concept and experimental rock music and without them bands like Radiohead probally wouldnt exist

  • wow radiohead are awesome wirhout the beatles we would not have this wonderful music you trolls

  • Definitely, Radiohead is the best band. The beatles go second xD

  • bring down the government

  • Is there any way to get some kind of Glastonbury DVD?

  • again, this song was my wedding march, played in a 400 yo pipe organ in a big spanish cathedral . it blew up my brains.

  • @0611atm

    so cool...

  • @0611atm that's so kool!By any chance do have any recordings of it?

  • @0611atm dude...thats fucking awesome. straight up

  • Radiohead is the second best band ever. The first is The Beatles.

  • @billscorpse fuck the beatles. that band sucks ass

  • @gabrielgarciamiro sorry but the beatles probably influenced radiohead and also most of the successful bands of all time, without the beatles music wouldn't be the same

  • @gabrielgarciamiro fuck the beatles, they suck ass? you are thick as shit

  • it so fuckin' hurts

    ::love it::

  • Ed, You need some more practice........wrong chord in the beginning.

  • @Forest0103

He probably just drank a bit to much :p Coz I don't actually think Ed need MUCH practise in guitar, he's at the top

  • you may no think it but i bet ya yorke was pissed off with his voice after this, to his own standards he knows he's better, best band of the 90s and along with muse the 00s, underated to death, rock out on ya next album fella's.. please

  • bring down the government

  • @CecilEubanks Yeah ur right, hopefully they come out with a new album

  • Watching this makes me emotional and I wasn't even there

  • disaster at 0:45

  • Pink Floyd i think r a better comparison - classical rock - both have more emotion 4 me n say something bout the psyche of the time

  • bring down the governnmennnnt

  • david bowie at 2:58

  • well this song isn't just about the meaning of life, but how the meaning of life has changed

  • Best band in the world right now.

  • Comment removed

  • bring down the government!!!!! they don't speak for us

  • This song is about the meaning of life

  • @nesbath Well put..not greedy

  • Absolutely amazing, brilliant song with a powerful message for the world of today.

I lol also at people who say this song is about suicide.

Only problem with this crowd in all these songs is they are clapping along all happy -__-

    Listen, dicks :P

  • Probably a better band never returns to exist that radiohead ...!

  • its sad how ppl r brainwashed into the mainstream and think 'poorly' of non-mainstream bands (im not saying this band should b mainstream either)

  • @stardark99

its also sad how non mainstream supporters think a band frankly sucks if it's listened to by the mainstream

  • Man, I get chills everytime he sings "Get me outta here" with Thom singin the chorus...just beautiful:)

  • GOOSEBUMPS

  • wow

  • Even Ed's bum note at 0:40 doesn't prevent this from being one of the most heartbreaking and beautiful renditions of a magical song

  • Best band of Today.

  • Best band of all time in my eyes.

  • @rockaires Best band of Tomorow.

  • @rockaires of EVER.

  • @rockaires More like best band of all time...........

  • @rockaires AS MUCH AS I LOVE YOUR COMMENT you cant say that, you should show it because that is much better

  • Hey, FUCK YOU! :3

  • esta es mi favorita

  • ..this one goes to my love Mimmi....

  • So beautiful...

  • does anyone else think Thom Yorke looks a bit like John Simm or am I just seeing the Master everywhere?

  • I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the NY's day special. So I'm not alone :D

  • yes....in fact there's some picture on the internet saying "Thom Yorke is the master" somewhere

  • i've no idea why i get a shiver up my back when sitting listening and watching this

  • @008maguire Because it is such a beautiful song. Well at least that is why it gives me shivers.

  • Because sons of god is singing to you.

  • thats crazy

  • maybe 60,000-100,000 people in audience, its hard to tell... there was about 130,000 tickets that year but at least that again are working there.

it felt pretty big, took maybe an hour to get to where i stood, couldnt see the end of people in any direction

  • Way back in 1997, No Surprises didn't hold any sort of special appeal to me then lately I rediscovered it and realized it could very well be the soundtrack of my life. The song's message which seems to be yearning for a quiet life and the line "a job that slowly kills you, bruises that won't heal", pretty much seals the deal for me. Distressing stuff but one of Radiohead's best songs. And that glockenspiel that mimics a lullaby, pure genius! Jonny's a massive talent, what can I say?

  • how many viewers are there?
