Interesting. So a skill learned in the third grade is anything less than a child expressing creativity? It's obvious that the finger painting, macaroni pictures and cut-out drawings that children lear and love in the third grade get's stomped out of them for more important indocrinations; in order to be good, productive drones. Children know better, then creativity is yanked from them in order to - conform. I suppose the artist had never learned to become like that.

I remember doing this in the third grade, but they called it arts and crafts. It is shameful that ADULTS call this art. Whatever happened to skill and technique? Children even know better.

I'm absolutely certain you did nothing on this level when you were in third grade. There is no shame in art. There is shame, however, in uneducated, uninformed criticism.

Then please complete and post your own collage. I don't say this to be ugly but to encourage you. I knew an artist several years ago who became an artist because he said, "I can do better." His friends said, "Really?" And he did. He's quite good. You might be too.
