Actually, I did the same thing myself when I was in my early 20's, same song and everything. Did it with the band that played in the Casino I worked at, they had a karaoke night and that was one of the songs I did. I had people falling over themselves they couldn't believe how good I sounded. I also sang Eric Clapton's "Tears from Heaven". Sadly, can't do it now at 39, voice is deeper now and out of singing practice. I can only go as high as Josh Groban.
