If you are prepared to accept poorly suppressed ignition wires that fail sooner than any other type of ignition wires and stretch your ignition system to the limit, with no real gains, then by all means use these wires.
@DrGoodwrench would it make the most sense to stick with stock ignition? I hear over time the Nowlogy hotwires will break down and the electromagnetic interference can cause serious electrical problems with the igntion system, one of which is an overloading of ignition coils. So if you run Nology Hotwires with NGK BKR6E spark plugs it will potentially be a really bad move?
Similar technology and HP results, BUT the plugs are not going to last in general, as long as the wires, and the heat ranges etc are limited. The wires are much easier to swap into other cars etc.
Most racers change plugs every event, so the costs can stack up quickly.
more sparks = more complete combustion means you don't waste fuel to be burnt in your tailpipe so less pollution more performance and less cost on gas because more performance = higher efficiency! Anyone serious about hydrogen needs these plugs!
Really depends on your application. Turbo and SC cars see a substantial improvement, as do carburated engines. Stock FI improvements are not substantial, but all will see gains when timing is set on the dyno, not from a books recommendation.
agree! They should publish real results

i want to see the actual results. not just some white headed dude saying " they shown improvement"

How good are these wires in combination with a standard resistor spark plug?
srhabb 1 year ago
@srhabb you lose about 70% of the gain from non resistor plugs

Just how different is it from Pulstar spark plugs? Those have the "Capacitor" inside the plug itself!! and what happens if you use a combination?

Using a combination would NOT be advisable, as this would be the same as trying to two capacitors in sequence.

So whats the actual difference in numbers? After not seeing any raw data I'm pretty skeptical.

Simple Concept- convert your inductive coil ignition to a CDi by putting a capacitor in the plug wire. What a simple and great idea.

Well they are the same concept, but you can't foul a wire. Running them together is not advisable.
