Oh, I love some SNES Ghost Valley 2. A very formidable foe, that Sira. But to state the obvious, he ain't got crap on the people above him. I max out with Diddy and the Mach Bike at about 57.5 seconds. Still looking for that special optimum strategy that doesn't involve picking a better driver. ;)

lol ive beaten this time by over a second using the spear (torpedo), spent quite a while gettin it pretty perfect. looked at world record saw it was 53.sumthin, didnt believe it. then realised that the bowser bike is used and is a lot better for this track. :(

It's not hard at all xD

Try using Funky Kong with the Bowser Bike (Flame Runner), with manual.

It just takes practice; I have 54 seconds. :)

it takes a while to beat it just because the fact that the course is so short, keep in mind to take the shortcut at an angle (preferably drifting) so you don't fall off with a wide turn and hug the sides like there's no tommorrow.

you think ghost valley is hard? my current record is 57:172. i found a small trick: just befor the ramp, use mushroom while aiming far to the right a land back on the track. it saves you from the 90 degree turn after the shortcut.

I finally beat him. I can give the best tip to beat him. If you notice how he jumps that gap, you can turn alot sooner then him if you make your jump right, as soon as you make that cap make a real sharp turn and you'll get the lead, once that you can not mess up or your done. I did it on manuel with flame thrower. Good luck!

For people going against this Expert Staff Ghost, use HIGH SPEED BIKES, it's using the FASTEST BIKE, BUT LACKS CONTROL. I recommend Flame Flyer, if you are using Automatic, USE YOUR MUSHROOMS MORE EARLIER THAN THE STAFF GHOST! I beat it, but only in a matter of seconds, and I used Sneakster on my Mii.
