  • Tito & Tarantula also used the opening music from A Clockwork Orange as the intro to their shows.

  • Its actually Henry Purcel's Funeral for queen mary, you pop culture inundated children.

  • @jeeprnovru Pop culture? A Clockwork Orange is perhaps the definition of cult cinema. Also, this particular version is a synthesised adaptation of the Funeral March of Queen Mary II, created by Wendy Carlos.

  • your humble narrator, was getting too old for that sort of vesche

  • I'd have to say, if I ever become a stage performer, I would want A Clockwork Orange as my intro too.

  • You should put Wendy Carlos in the keywords

  • its "a clock work orange"

  • @uNANOtube

    No. It's a Clockwork Orange.

  • @Mrster No it is "A Clockwork Orange"

  • @MrTechGuy1995

    Now you're just being a smartass. ;)

  • @Mrster I know right?

  • Good song, good band. but if you rip something off then do it yourself.

No one hears this song without Clockwork Orange in mind. Which tends to be a dope head and people who like to get into psychology and stuff because they think it makes them smarter...favorite.

Now....I could see groups such as The Pink Floyd or Elton John, possibly Queen pulling it off in a very interesting way.

  • Bad Lieutenant came on with this recently too (Bernard Sumner).

  • the adicts?

  • I like duran duran but they sure as shit didn't write or play this it's just a back track give credit to wendy carlos or when it was written walter

  • blix, Wendy Carlos didn't write this either. She played and reinterpreted it- but it was written in 1694 by Henry Purcell.

  • @Nahni428 That's correct - and he wrote it for the funeral of Queen Mary II. And on a side note I want to mention that the soundtrack to A Clockwork Orange was the first LP Simon Le Bon bought when he was just a lad of 14...

  • Breathtaking intro....loads of emotions

    in those notes.

  • Wow! Amazing opening!

  • Oooooo this gave me massive goosebumps! My god I love Duran Duran!!!!!

  • What a band! They just keep coming up with fantastic ideas for their gigs. Light years ahead of the rest. Long live the Wild Boys.

  • God I loveeee this part of the concert the excitment and just knowing they are coming out amazing !! love them !!
