  • @spike10 same questions as dean. Also are you just basing it on this or on all of her stuff?

  • WOW! I don't know how she does it, but every one of her songs makes me love her even more!!! She may not be as famous as that Beiber fuck or all these stupid musical hacks, but she is a gift from above. She is uber talented, and I hope she knows her fans (like me) adore her SO MUCH!!!!

  • fkors, no one listens to her or buys her cds or calls her to perform or uploads her videos or comments about how much he loves her music

    you're right on track

  • @spike10 I don't understand the backlash against her. What she doing wrong? She's pretty smart, and funny and writes memorable tunes. No, really, I'm asking.

  • @spike10 I would agree she's self-indulgent - just listen to the orchestra. But there's some nifty stuff among it all.

  • @deanbigstar Yes, unfortunately there are no longer enough connoisseurs of music and most people just listen to what is popular and not what is good. Her music makes people think, and most people loathe thinking.

  • gagga

  • This is really refreshing and great to see that it's getting the promotion it so deserves. All the best Nellile!

  • And you'll always be a nobody, vthov, if you keep up these practices. I don't know how many of these I've removed. This one I'll leave up, so everyone can get a load of your shitty videos and your hard to pronounce name.

  • Nelli Mckay is the style and sound of yesteryear, with the stinging witty wordiness of today. She blends the best of all eras together perfectly, and while taping into various genres, she manages to still be refreshingly original!

No doubt though, she was definitely influenced by broadway, and the musicals of the past. And, kudos to her, for giving that fabulous flavor a fresh voice (and adorable face ^_^)! Not to mention the Brooklyn Philharmonic (sp?). Thier music leaves me enchanted <3

  • Great assessment of her appeal. I also like that she and her orchestra seem to care about how they look to an audience.

  • this song gives me the chills....when the mandolins play in the chorus....so good!;)

  • is that a mandolin? it looks like the one guy to the side is playing some type of mallet instrument, i dont see a mandolin.

  • at 2:18 doesn't Paul come in early? He should so be fired already. Let him banter, but his musical directing is poor, yo.

  • also, his always end too short. its annoying.

but i love her high one at the end.

  • I first heard her on the radio singing "Identity Theft" and I couldn't believe how fast she was singing! She is a lot of talent and she is one of my favorite singers. Not only do I like her singing, the topics of her songs are very clever and attract a lot of attention. I know I enjoy them.

  • i love this song!

  • she so goddamm fuckin cute!

  • nellie is sooooo cool...that song is not even close to her best stuff and she's still awesome!!!

  • I'm definitely feeling this song the most!

  • were the phil harmonics with her when she recorded this song? sounds like..... COOL

  • Why did the bald house musician have to join in at the end and ruin it? Keep out of Nelly's way silly bald man!

  • She's Amazing. Love you Nellie!

  • The Asian violinist was HOT.

  • I love this woman!

  • She looks very very sweet!! I like the way she smile!

  • Not one of my favorites from that CD, but still a good performance. Wish I lived in New York so I could go to that show.

  • Brooklyn Philharmonic and Nellie McKay at BAM on February 1!! Tickets still available 718-636-4100

  • hells yes thanks
