When i downloaded the mapping it came up as a tmi.xml file instead of a .tmi file so traktor wouldnt let me import it. Can anyone help me out?

uuuhm i tried downloading the tsi file but it says you have to register first, so i did but then i never got a confirmation email. i triple checked my email and i even tried changing to my backup email, hell i even tried to register a new account but still no email in any of my email addresses for both accounts.... please help :( my midi fighters just there....staring at me....begging to be used

@thesickestlad no, its a MIDI controller so it does not transmit an audio signal, it only tells your what to do, and they are fully customizable (You can select a button to so anything from loading songs to making a drum beat and all those in between)

Nothing special here you could get the same results with any button controller but this is more like kungfu style button slamming so that makes it reaaaaallly KEwWllll ZomGGG! Mommy buy it for me I don't like my ipod anymore!

Hey Ean, I recently decided to map a USB numeric keypad to control hotcues and looping in Traktor Pro. I set up a modifier "shift" key to switch its functionality to that beatslicer thing you did with the Midi Fighter. I can't manage to duplicate that effect you set up on your mapping. What effect did you use? Was it a combination of effects? Certain values for the effects? I think I understand the mapping algorithm, just not how to make that particular sound.

Is there anybody who can direct me to where I can "re-slice" cue points in Traktor Pro? I want to shift active hot cue sets so I can re-slice portions of songs with my Akai LPD8, and I'm trying to learn the MIDI mappings. I don't understand how Ean managed to "shift" the active cue points, although I notice on the DJTT download of the songs he has the cue points set up, just not mapped to active buttons.

Could I perhaps just open your mapping and look at it in the software there without a MIDI fighter? I'm really specifically interested in the slicer mode.

Download the mapping via the website and see exactly what he did. Its midi so you can program however you like--use the "learn" function on Traktor.

I have played around with two MF but you need two USBs. If you get a good USB hub you can probably do that. But that is a little controller overload. I use the VCI 100 SE and MF w/ a firewire soundcard. Check out my video if you want more explanation.
