I am confused.how did you use the pressure plates to open the closed pistons.i have watched your video like 5 times and i dont get it.Either i am missing something or they patched it.im making glass sliding doors for a huge tower but the doors are open,i have pressure plates but they close when i walk on them.i have tried your redstone torch setup up but it still doesnt work.

@FireIronArm Place the redstone torches before you place the pressure plates. That should work! If not, watch the video carefully and follow all the steps.

I created this using another video the problem is I used a button on one side instead of pressure plates..and the open delay is only like half a second..know a way to increase the time before reset?
