This movie was so intense, so horrifying, and so shocking. I still can't tell if it was better for me to have watched it or not, but I know I'll definitely never forget it.

I think the reason is that is not a film directly depicting Columine, is because people affected by the columbine massacre are alive today and making a film with actors playing their roles might be disrespectfull or hurtful for them.
This is alos the reason why "Bullet Time" - our own school shooting film uses the same mechanism - it is inspired by columbine, but not a recreation of the actual events or actual people.

YOUR reaction and THEIR reaction is obviously going to be different as well. I don't condone what they do, but to understand, you have to step into an open mindset. The simple truth is, they had different ideals than you did. You were able to handle it, possibly with certain variables, similar people are not able to do so.

Everyone is bullied in highschool and elementary school. Sometimes it goes overboard but those circumstances can be dealt with. However, no matter what people do, only freaks shoot up schools, classmates, and teachers. These highscool shooters are not normal which is probably why they are picked on in the first place. Highschool shootings are very rare while bullying is quite normal so what does that say? There is something wrong with these particular students
