i have this guitar and let me tell ya something, it out preforms my uncles gibson lp standard hands down, sure do wish it had all 4 pots though. i might have gotten a good one though cause epi does put out some bad guitars, gotta play um before ya buy um~

i have this guitar, and it;s very good. not the heaviest of the heavy stuff, but it can sure scream. i play stuff like metallica and black sabbath with it all the time and it is sure heavy enoff for that kind of music

i wish they made this in the Black Quilttop, or made the EX without those shitty EMG pickups. Duncan Blackouts would have been much more ideal, or SH-8s, or DiMarzio XN2s. EMG aint got shit on any of those.

Oh yes that guitar is versatile, it has the split coil function, so you can also obtain a single coil sound from these pickups.

No, if you want to play Green Day then save a little longer and get a Gibson Les Paul JR.

They're not that expensive, and they're basically what Billie Joe uses.

If you don't have the money then the Gibson Melody Maker is the closest you can come to a LP jr without paying big bucks.

I've had this guitar literally 2 days and have fallen in love with it! There is SO many tone variations it's RIDICULOUS! With a good amp (I have a Vox AD30VT) it can be played for metal, rock, jazz, blues...you name it...it can do it! :) LOVE
