Check in your control panel/sound devices to make sure that the usb headset is selected as input. I have a logitech headset that worked seemlessly with it. Contact me of you need more help than that.

please help, the bad im in atm are currently using audacity to record music as we are scint 4 money basicly we record the drums using an electric kit pluged into the PC so the sound comes through the speakers dont ask why we want to record the guitar and bass with 1 mic individually we can do the bass and guitar but when we do the drums we have to play the drums while the guitar and bass recording is playing so it doubles it up and makes it go out of time anyone know a better way of recording?

If you want to be able to hear the first track and record something new in sync with that track then just plug in some headphones so you can listen to it while you are recording the new track. And if for some reason you wanted to record a new track that wasn't in sync with the first track you could just mute the track you didn't want to hear. Did that help?

no, not once you download and install it, the only programs that can give you viruses are programs that use the internet. it does have an open code so if you getit from an untrusted site its code may have been tampered with and that could have a virus but that would be odd, and its usually downloaded from a "mirror" so you should be fine if you get it from the sites suggested places.

the high pitch thing is easy to get by you just press project rate in the bottom left of the screen and make it 22050 and click on your songs arrow thing and do the same thing to the project rate. hope i helped :)
