nice bro im telling you that mel concept works very well when it comes to making nice full beats. Also another tip is when the hook part comes in i think it would sound good if you had some hats playing in a mel matching pattern really low sounding under everything else... Does that make sense pretty much just not loud hats playing under the hook mel matching it. its an Idea its something i do to help the listener understand that this is the hook lol
