It actually turned up in a birdwatchers garden, his son spotted it feeding in the back garden and after 2 days of very brief sightings it finally showed to a small number of birders waiting to see it. I was lucky to get it on film before it disappeared again. An absolutely amazing bird to see.
Thanks Osprey27, my first ever Wryneck in the UK and hard enough to find let alone film. I had to hold my video camera up to my scope whilst panning the scope around to film it, not easy hence the camera shake. Amazing bird. There has been 2 reported sightings of Wryneck in Glos this year already, both in September in private gardens in Stow-on-the-Wold & Dursley.
Nice find :)

Fantastic footage of a really cool bird - I'm hoping we get one in GLOS soon!
