  • How? there's nothing about how it works

  • Just buy colored smoke bombs and throw them into a fire. You can get red, yellow, blue, purple, aqua, and green from it most of the time.

  • no, all you'll get is colored smoke, with this, you need chemicals like copper and the like.

  • yeah, smoke bombs will give you smoke, not colored fire

  • I'm pretty sure burning copper gives you green fire... and like.. potassium i think gives purple or deep red or something.

There was some element that burned an intense yellow, but i forgot it.

  • sodium

  • lithium red, potassium purple, copper or methyl bromate green, umm theres a whole list on wikipedia prolly.

  • is it salt?

  • I don't know if Jkove means the element Sodium or the compound Sodium Chlorate...

  • It's sodium chloride i've done it before and purple is potasium chloride and you can get green by burning aluminium.

  • I've never even made colored fire before, to be honest. Where can you get these compounds?

  • Sodium Chloride is table salt, Potassium chloride is salt subsitute both of which can be found in almost any grocery store. you can use boric acid instead of aluminum for green it can be found in almost any pharamacy and at wal-mart. I've heard Epsom salts burn white, you can probably find them at a pharmavy too.

  • no its some kind of copper sulphate you can get them at fire place stores

  • All available at wal-mart!

Yellow green - Borax and Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol)

Green - Boric Acid (roach killer) Heet antifreeze (Methyl Alcohol)

  • The instrutions in this video are clear: drop green magical fairy dust in the fire on january 28th and you'll get green fire. I dont see how that would confuse you guys.

    =p

  • no no no you do it on November 14th

  • nonono that was when the video was posted.. its actually january 28..... ;)

  • Remember, remember, the 5th of November

  • the correct date of what?

  • read the original comment lol =p

  • can i do it on a tuesday ?

  • well duh it doesnt tell you, thats what the magazine is for!

  • With a title of "Making Colored Fire" and a description of "how to make a fire that changes colors", it should include instructions. Change the description or update the video.

  • The description says, "how to make a fire that changes colors." But the video didn't say how. It should have just read, "fire that changes colors."

  • cool but what did they use to do that.

  • They used copper chloride

  • they used cornnn
