I've travelled all over Eastern-Europe & Greece and I have not seen one single example of beautiful Ottoman architecture or art, where as if you travel all over Asia Minor, you'll find magnificent Greek/Roman cities, temples, theatres, aqueducts, castles, etc

But then again you always were expendable, devoted slaves to your masters and you would always do what ever they requested. When we conquered Thessaloniki in 1912, the Turkish commander just surrendered the city (Typical for the chicken Turks since 1821) without even a fight! Lol! And the Bombing of the Turkish flagship Feth-i-Bulend inside the city's harbor, by a small Greek torpedo vessel that sent it to its watery grave along with all its crew, was the cheery on top of the cake! ;)

Okay. What was the final outcome, before, during, & especially after (in Izmir)? A great man like Ataturk comes by very rarely. He did an excellent job in "graciously kicking your asses"! As for Venizelos, he was not a general, but a politician & prime-minister and never had a sword, thus he never surrendered such thing. How ever, he did ensure Macedonia, Thrace, Crete & the Aegean sea to Greek sovereignty, that lasts to this day. And this BS story about the flag, is made up by you turks. Any weapons we used in the Anatolian campaign, we either bought for a hefty price or constructed them our selves. No one gave us anything for free, neither our freedom from you mongols!
