I believe that video games have no direct connection to violence in the real world. It is the person's decision to do what he/she wants, and that INCLUDES violence.
As for me, I play Halo and Modern Warfare and other violent games like that (besides Doom 3, it scares the CRAP out of me) with my brother and his friends all the time, even sometimes solo, and I'm not violent...Well ok a little, but i has nothing to do with he game, I assure you. -)
No way! I love shooting games, but I can't even harm a fly without feeling sorry for him (or her). I have been playing games like Halo and Grand Theft Auto ever since I was 7. I am 14 now, and I am a very gentle, nice person. It actually helps me release my inner rage at the world when I bash a zombie's head in.
Violent games do cause violent thoughts/actions. But, it's only because all those dumbasses who do have those thoughts and do those actions don't have common sense or moral. My video game collection is close to almost violents video games (my 360 collection anyway), but I have enough common sense and know not to shoot my friend if some random dude gives me an RPG.
Hi I'm Kidhavii1995 and Seananners u are great at what u do.only 2 vids and i already subscribed.

Walmart would be like one of the worst places to be in a zombie apocalypse, just think of all the other people who would've had the same idea, or of how many infected there would be in there.
well me and my freinds have it all figured out. there is this place at our school where the only way up is some stairs. we take out the stairs, put a rope there, get some food and water and guns. i own over 60 different guns and 50 pounds of ammo for each one

Not many people know Whitaker dies in this, after the "Cola" is given and the Tanker is destroyed, There is a Growl of a Hunter and Zombies coming from the Tanoy speakers, As there is a Man quietly groaning...Thumbs up so people can see?
actually if someone hits me ill hit them back but i dont staart fights and if a wild animal bights me il grab it or kick it or somthin but i wont kill it
corellation depends on the game. @vietdadirt Why does everyone have to bring call of duty to everything. This came out before black ops, so if anything the guns from black ops remind me of the guns in l4D anyone noticing?
playing violent games never made me particulary violent. if someone is pushing on me, i just calle ma good firend chuck norris and he takes care of them.
I have killed many a man, woman, and child in real life, and it's all thanks to call of duty... Lol, you see how dumb that sounds? No, I do not believe violence translates just how I don't think I can fly after watching superman returns.
i think you know that black ops cermercial well at the end it says theres a soilder in everyone well there is and fps helps that every one like this so he can see
I hate Richtofer and Takeo, but please, your telling me you wouldn't want some1 that experienced at killing stuff to help during a zombie apocalypse. Ok, sry for super long comment(s)
You know, Seananners I have to disagree on the zombie plan. Well, part of it. I wouldn't go to a well known place like costco or walmart. But I would get a team of 3 or more good friends that don't like getting eaten and go set up a perimeter in a 7/11. The part I disagree with you is- if you go out to the country, you'll find more zombies. Like in waw nacht der untoten, verruckt, and shi no numa were all in obviously abandoned places. Now, they survived because their just badass.
Dude Ive 20 people ran at me with blood puring out of there eyes singing I am the Walrus (mis spelled I know) I would die from the sight of that of that because of how F'n awesome that would be
i dont know i think ther might be people who let the violence of the video games go to their real lives...but that doesnt happen to me like i love to play dead rissing that doesnt mean im gonna go on thestreets with a bat and a servbot mask killing people i think it deppends on how you know disturbed a person can be to let the violence of a game into their lives but why should we the normal people who play games for fun suffer for those crazy people

I think that violence in games does not correlate to violence in real life. I want to get this game!! but can you play it 4 only 1 player??oh yea u rock bro oh yea THANK U CARMINA. hell yea seananners dose need a radio show or TV show bro u f-n rock!!!!!
As for the zombie thing i would hide in my shed with a cricket bat and be incredibly scared until i eventually worked up the courage to takr my own life.
My view on the topic of violence translating into real life is if the person in question has an existing condition, then violent video games / movies can make that condition worse, or cause them to become more violent.
However, if you are a normal, healthy guy then playing violent video games will not change you at all.
I think there is more of a correlation between uneducated people and violence than educated people.
By that I mean, uneducated people playing a lot of violent video games will be more likely to be violent in real life than those who are educated, simply because they have more common sense, they know more about the world and its moral / ethical issues.
cookies make me happy too lol but cookies and being a couch potato equals gaining weight :( lol but its hard to put the controller down when your having so much fun
Violence in video games and Violence in real life are not connected if you play COD then go "Im such a phyco im going to go and shoot someone in the face with a shotgun"then it's your fault for being a phsycopath not the games
my set up in this game is the AK-47 and eather the guitar or the baseball bat. thank you korema for making those cookies for adam. QOTD: games can make some people but not so much to go into a mall with an lmg ang tape down the trigger.
And as for what I'd do in a "real" zombie apocalypse? Avoid Walmart, Costco, and Safeway. :) I have a bag of stuff (food, water, clothes, ID, money, flashlight, radio, first aid) I can grab to leave the house in a hurry, in the event of a tornado or flood (which are the most common disasters here). So I suppose I'd grab that bag and try to jump in the car and head to a less populated area, then stop and reassess (news, look at maps, try to call family, get word from authorities, etc).
Playing violent games never made me violent. In real life I am very friendly, I love science and medicine, love being out in nature, listening to music, traveling, good wine. But put me in a FPS and the aggression and bloodlust comes out! :P But a game like L4D can be really fun on multiplayer, especially if you get a really funny team.
I know, from being a gamer for over a decade, that there are a lot of people out there who really let the game get to them. Never been me, though.
@multiplecats Games like COD(series) triggers something primal in our male brains, the same trigger that cavemen had when killing a sabertooth tiger.IT'S AWESOME.
@multiplecats same here i just like to kick back, relax and kill shoot some shit on a game yeah playin with a funny team is good im one of those people that'l make jokes and crap while im waitin for ya lol if you got L4D or L4D2 on computer tell me my name is TheBeastlybeast
Left 4 Dead Two takes the zombie collection to a completely new level. It's seriously the most gruesome thing i've truly ever before tried. If you havent dled it and played it up to this point, run to L4D2dlXcom (replace X with . ). These people have got the game for free there!
But some games can cause people to slam the controller on the coffee table. Like trying to kill a Glowing One on very hard. The MW2 campaign on the hardest setting. Ugh... So aggravating
Their was kind of a lot of controversy about manhunt 2. A bunch of news stations were doing first hand looks at it. It almost got an adult only rating! Hahah
violent games only make the people who take it to seriously violent, so please every body just have fun because you wont be able to rage quit in a zombie apocalypse
Now for the question, with me, it doesn't affect me. I play violent games and in real life, am violent...but now, it doesn't mather if I play M games...am 17....well almost 18...
But even then, I played M games at about 13 or younger (Unreal Tournament, for exemple)....it didn't made me violent. And am violent at the characters in games (am not saying things like : Oh, you f***er, am gona kill you! HAHA, b****!), am just saying nothing.
i love that he tries every weapon in the gun store. :P

I think there is more of a correlation between uneducated people and violence than educated people.
By that I mean, uneducated people playing a lot of violent video games will be more likely to be violent in real life than those who are educated, simply because they have more common sense, they know more about the world and its moral / ethical issues.

Adam, your voice is like Morgan Freeman's lol. It's soothing.
Also, I would take all the food and ammunition I could get, and then move out to the Canadian Rockies. :D

Violence in video games and Violence in real life are not connected if you play COD then go "Im such a phyco im going to go and shoot someone in the face with a shotgun"then it's your fault for being a phsycopath not the games

My point of view about people playing being more violent :
F.cked up people (aka Violent people) will stay that way with or without games.
Games / films / music isnt making people more violent , everyone have choice.

Ugh... So aggravating

violent games only make the people who take it to seriously violent, so please every body just have fun because you wont be able to rage quit in a zombie apocalypse
eloncay11 1 year ago
If there would have to be an apocalypse, the fanatic / religious people would be a big pain in the ass, as for the influencable people...
I don't have any guns (I live in Canada)...

Poodleinacan 1 year ago
That subject is more for small kids who plays rated M games, and there parents not being authoritarian with what game they should play.
Poodleinacan 1 year ago
Thanks for the cookies. Violent games dont make people violent. Theyre games
