i tried out my 150hp merc in a bin full of water like that - as soon as i put it in gear the bin was completely obliterated and about 100 litres of water went everywhere!

more details on the motor how many watts, hp? thanks
@theapothem1 the motor was originally rated at 3hp (continuous industrial duty)
It can put out 20-30hp peak depending on the controller.
This setup was putting out a max of about 4kw (6hp)

Hi, nicely done!
What kind of motor is this? It looks like one from a golf cart?

Hi,
it's an Advanced DC 6.7" motor, very similar to a golf kart one. I think this one was used in some industrial application

how much throttle did it give? on battery or 22ov? is it rendable?

I was running it on a battery pack of about 40 volts.
This went up to full throttle briefly, which gives about 3000rpm at the motor.
It was then put on a boat and driven around :)
Very interesting way to waste batterypower and heat up a motor and water.
But I dig it.
