We just finished performing Anon(ymous). We took slot of our inspiration from this performance! Thanks:) I was able to play Senator Lauis and Strygal:) I loved it!!!
I played the part of Pascal (yes..I am a girl...but it still worked haha) at Interlochen Arts Camp 2 years ago, and coming across this brings back so many memories. It's such a beautiful story. This song gives me goosebumps.
Wait so the choral passages, the "poems" (In the rel version of the play) are talking, not singing, right? Because I'm auditioning for the part of Anon and I thought there was no singing kuz i don't like to sing
Wow. How I miss this show. Working with all of these artists was amazing. This song plays in my head all the time. It was my first CCM production as a grad student and the song hits home.
@Athbaan Pascal is an amazing role. He has such a fantastic monologue. No matter how many times I saw it, it always choked me up -- albeit, Pascal was played as a woman in the show I saw (hopefully they got the rights to do that... cough)

@MrBadSamaritan
The choral passages are spoken, and unless your director adds it to the production like I did, there should be no singing.

is it a musical?!?!
Pacificzoo 2 years ago
It is a play by Naomi Iizuka. There are choral passages, 'poems' , that we set to music rather than speaking, creating a hybrid 'play with music.'
