  • Probably the guy that got his hat signed "Child Molestor" at Spartenburg 1999.

  • damn.. he clocked someone in the head w/ the mic lol.. I think he was apoligizing afterwards.

  • finally decides to zoom in 4 minutes into the video. im just sayin'!

  • 1992 toronto..i have it too...this one is good!!!

  • i have this whole show on tape. pro shot. its great!!

  • what year was this? don't see it anywhere

  • 1992 sept..in toronto..i have it too

    :)

  • that was such a great show!! (The Phoenix, Toronto) Am so used to barricades now I almost forgot what chaos it used to be . We met Mike that night after the show and he was very gracious ...... also lucky he did not get his ass sued !! haahaa

  • Nice, I have this entire concert on VHS lol. It's so good. If I get my hands on a VCR I'll transfer it.

  • Totally forgot about this video. Awesome! Yeah, he totally hits the wrong guy but checks him out, gets a towel, and proceeds to serenade him. Touching in that Mr. Bungle kind of way. The money shot really is the guy dancing at the end. Bungle.....priceless.

  • I love Bungle. I wish they would reunite... all friends from High school...hah

    so talented.

  • I miss these guys.

  • great show i saw them perform the same set list at the rock candy in seattle

  • when they started petting his back I almost fell into tears.

  • That was fucking hilarious. Great band, great cover, great use of the mic!!!! ;-)

  • neat I was at this show in Toronto!

  • LMMFAO @ this whole video...it's like a comedy act...you got Patton in an S & M mask singing this beautiful tune, while mashing a guy in the head with his mic.

  • Which is cooler: the song choice, the S&M mask, the hit from the mic, Mike bringing out the towel, the response from the crowd, or the guy dancing in the back at 4:51? Yes, it was bad of him to hit the guy. How would anybody respond if they had gotten sucked into that mosh pit? This is one of my all time favorite videos.

  • blah blah blah blah jesus cchrist!

  • he's a king of a nations, musical genius, soul thieve by all my heart and universe for my brain

  • beautiful

  • i actually heard that before, that he does disney singing/voiceovers....

  • I have lots to say... Mike is a great guy. He was probably surprised, shocked, pissed off and maybe embarrassed that he got grabbed in like that and he had to take his anger out on someone. But when he got the Towel, it was quite a nice touching moment and yes, Mike sings the whole thing without missing a note! The guy is a true performer and when he hit the poor guy, he obviously had a soft spot in his heart and knew that he did the wrong thing. Mike Patton = Idol.

  • Buaaaa!! Pinche pendejo e yastaaa!!! Pinche pendejo pinche pendejo.

  • Patton is pretty rude. I know a guy whose wife worked a 7-11 next to an arena where he played with Tool. He insulted the lady and Tool ended up apologizing for his behavior. He does Disney songs under a fake name btw...

  • you mean.. hes a person? good call.

Id do disney tunes too if they offered me money. opera, jazz, video games and only about 15 side projects. loser though.

  • What'd he say?

  • .

After the point where the video cut short, he says, "Thanks. Sorry. Good night."

  • haha, awesome... !SMACK! "uh, my bad dude, come back n get some ass later" totally right bout soothin the crowd though, even the few surfers were being pulled straight back in by the crowd as if to say "f@ck u, time to be nice"... how the hell did he do that?

  • damn mikes got a voice.

  • He totally cracked some innocent dude in the head.. that wasnt the dude who pulled him in.. Thats why he was pettin dudes head and got him a towel and then pulled him onstage to get taken to the back.. he was prolly bleeding

  • is very cool video in all aspects voice ,crazy improvisating performance, the pit,the two crazy guys behind patton the incident the crowd screaming for the patton action awesome is one of the best videos .

  • if you dont have something nice to say dont say anything

  • that was hilarious

  • I love how he just keeps singing after he gets pulled in :D

  • damn! I'm fan of APP for the unbelievably about of talent and skill that goes into making some of the cheesest music of all time. Dually, i'm a huge fan of mr. bungle and for anyone who's ever them live, they know that the crowds are INSANE and to see him calm them down like that with a APP song after an icident like that (generally the crowd would riot). I don't know who to thank more...Mike Patton or Alan Parson.

  • yeah heaviest pit ive been in...2nd heaviest was bad religion believe it or not.

  • haha patton beat some kid with the mic Gotta love it

  • did that guy start crying?

Patton Vive!!!

  • Bu şarkı ve gruba yapılır mı bu?

  • Wow that is so awesome!! Mike gets pulled in, hits the guy with the mic, and then starts petting him!? Dammit He is the greatest!

  • This being a classic from APP and having Mike doing this only shows me how much he really does love all kinds of influences. Shame I didn't meet up with him after Olga.

  • the dude at 4:51 was doing the melbourne shuffle...or what looked like a close version to it..popular dance move in australia

  • *naken*

  • haha fuck, mike patton kicks ass

  • This video was shot in Toronto Canada at a club on college st called the phoenix.

  • Mike is really a pro!

  • I have this on VHS & never actually paid attention to that scene!! Wow. I love how everyone's touching him & he's grabbing everyone's hands!! Aww.. Mike's so sweet!

  • love the pats on the back!!

  • i love how they just threw that guy off the stage at 1:06. preiceless.

  • I think he clocked the wrong guy with the mic.

  • where da camp fire??

    i luv this

  • lol funniest figgin video I've seen yet. couldn't stop laughing. & I agree with macwhite he never misses a note.

he carried on all the way thru.now that's a singer. thx for posting it.

  • puras agueonaos ;)

  • You can tell was he upset with himself for doing that, he made good on it, it probably also scared him abit that he was pulled in like that.

  • very funny! lol

  • he meant no harm,he was just into the moment and got smacked out of it for a second but obviously got back into it.

  • Didn't he try and give the guy a free t-shirt or something afterwards? That's what it looked like happened. 1:36 he gets a shirt from somewhere, gives it to someone and everyone starts patting him on the back. Kinda hard to make out what exactly happens but yeah you can see Patton getting pulled in and then retaliate which is the only unprofessional thing I think I've ever seen from him.

  • I think that guy was trying to hug patton..but he fell

  • i think it's a towel to wipe da blood off his head lol

    go patton

  • Classic. I love the Alan Parsons Project tune and Christ does Patton do it justice...UNDER ATTACK!

  • patton get hungry

  • i can't believe he never missed a note. in-credible.

  • what a little bitch patton is.... he hit the wrong guy too... a happy ending would have been if patton got his spoiled ass kicked by the friends of the fan who was hit.

  • I'd like to get the audio from this but it comes out too choppy when I play it. Any ideas?

  • OMG!!!! I cried a little.

  • lol. you too?

  • incredible vocal range - vox............. CMON PEOPLE YOU ACTUALLY THINK HE COULD DO ALL THOSE CRAZY SOUNDS WITH HIS VOCAL CHORDS ALONE? no! BUT I LIKE DIG THE OL' BITCH.

    PSYCHO WITH A HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I MEANT..I STILL DIG THE OL' BITCH!

    CIAO BITCHES N HOES

  • the real genius in this video occurs at about 4:50 in. Check out Bar McKinnon come out and dance like a complete spazz for a few seconds. Classic show. I wish I could find my old VHS of this whole show.

  • I have the whole show on my old computer. It was on the Patton FTP's before they were taken down. Maybe one day I'll try to recover it and slap it on here. It's fucking great as you can see, Bungle's early live shows were always intense as fuck...

  • That's my favourite part!

  • i heard that patton broke a girls tooth with a microphone. could be this?

  • awww a psycho with a heart.....and he doesnt miss a beat!!!! woo hoo!

  • Playing a full version of an Alan Parsons Project tune to a room full of drunk headbangers...Hahaha! Bungle crack me up. They're great.

  • Nice job, dumbass. He hit the wrong guy. I hope Patton was extra nice to that guy backstage. That guy could have sued the s**t out of him...

  • WebsterA, Bjork did an album using only voices too, Patton's on that. Check it out.

  • Yeah, what Mothra said.

I know its old, but to fortify what he said, I just saw Patton's solo album "Adult Themes for Voice" - Its all vox! Who else can do that, let alone compose some of Earth's most abstract, articulate music?

  • why is he such a genius? i hear this all the time about him, but i fail to see why he is so amazing..and i couldnt really see what happend there..but it looked like he whacked the wrong person on the head..

  • Well, assaults aside, here's Patton's genius: His music is dynamically compelling, despite unconventional structure. He creates a tenuous balance between avant-garde and accessibility, and somehow maintains soul. He also has an incredible vocal range and drastically leaps styles with great ease. His continued exploration of voice as an instrument is unique in rock music. To see Fantomas perform their entire first album live, note for note, with Patton "conducting", is awe-inspiring.

  • Very well said!

  • just type in "mike patton" and check out the dearth of youtube vids....

The guy is just so prolific it's sick...

  • LOL! What a damn genius.

  • patton rulezzzz

  • wow, never seen anything like that before!

  • i was at this show

it was toronto around 92 93 i think

i got gum in my hair
