Great question! Its played on a baritone ukulele the biggest member of the ukulele family tuned 5 half steps lower than all the others without a re-entrant bass string (D G B e vs. g C E a). Its really similar to guitar (the tunning is the sames as the 4 treble string on guitar) BUT, its also a very different instrument from guitar, I really enjoy the creativity the limitations of 4 strings encourages (once I get new strings I'll be doing more instructional type videos).
