After the Bush tax cuts were passed, gov't tax revenue exploded, & jobs were created. After Obama's failed "stimulus" package that just moved everyone to the gov't payroll, unemployment doubled. I believe in free commerce over being dependent on the government for everything I need. Therefore I do not believe in the Democratic Party. nas is not exactly a political wiz-kid. his response sounds so childish, like a kid trying to defend his bad behavior. i dare nas to have an adult conversation about rap lyrics with obama. as an artist he does not have to answer to anyone, but his response suggests that he knows that lots of rap lyrics (including some of his own) can be the opposite of positive and uplifting these days. and for a writer his answer was all over the place.

We all know that some of nas's lyrics were not kid friendly, but right now he's being a damn good example. He's doing what a lot of celebs are not doing, by standing up for what he believes in. I'm tied of hearing about all the bad things rappers are doing. Now when one does something positive and stands up for himself you want him to shut up.
