@gu81singh The vipers stock engine naturally aspirated produces 600hp. I wouldnt be suprised if the engine in the viper could withstand up to 3000hp with turbos, no sweat. In fact the Viper can produce 937hp at the wheels, with only 4 psi of boost. And a supra has 4 less cylinders than a viper. More cylinders = More power potential.

Your 1000 BHP ICE could be for example: SSC Ultimate Aero with 1287 hp. Ran 1/4 mile 9.90 sec @ 144 mph

EV can be "Lemon Juice" ran 9.80 sec @ 132 mph.

So Bollox back at you. It is already being done (google both cars)
