  • Leader Boehner was right not to trust these power-hungry Democrats about honoring their commitment to the Stupak amendment. Too bad that pro-choice Democrats were so stupid to vote for that destructive bill based on the Stupak amendment passing. I don't trust any Congressional Democrat in leadership position!

  • Why do Publicans oppose abortion and support Killing People overseas?

  • Stigmata: You really can't see the difference?

War: The military's mission is not to deliberately & intentionally kill innocent people

Death Penalty: Guilty of taking another person's life

Abortion: Taking the most innocent life of all; deliberately & intentionally

The better question is: Why are Liberals outraged over "non-fatally" waterboarding 3 terrorists, yet are okay w/babies chemically burned alive in the womb or stabbed in the head --- even up until their due date?

  • If you were a Believer in Christ, you would believe it is wrong to kill anyone.

  • StigmataBOB1:

    Read the Bible

  • I'm a Republican and I don't support killing people overseas.

Stigmata, Why do dems oppose the death penalty and support abortion?

  • john boehner is a fucking asshole. Why would anyone, except a neanderthal, dispute this conclusion?

  • Mr. Rangel is being frank and upfront. Boehner is just trying to play politics. Boehner doesn't know the U.S. Constitution from the Declaration of Independence.

  • save the whales kill the babies, typical liberal mind set.

  • its the mothers descision what to do with babies, if a woman is raped I would not expect the mother to keep on going with it as this is not something she wanted or planned for, and dont use stupid ass arguments.

  • @MostHumbleManOnEarth

    "kill the babies"

First off its not a baby, its a fetus.

Secondly, Take it up with the Supreme Court if you don't like it.

  • xetlive, so according to your logic, because it's a fetus and not a baby, it justifies killing it?

  • Hello jeremy!

I didn't say whether it was right or wrong to kill it soooo, its not my logic.

I was just correcting incorrect termonology.

As for it being good or bad to terminate a fetus, I think we both agree that the government should butt-out, right? I mean, you don't want them using your dollars for healthcare, raising your taxes, i.e. butting into your life, right?

So why should this be any different? Its not the governments body.

I think I know... because your religion says so.

  • I gave up on that religion blasphemy. I changed my channel around a little bit. But yea I agree.

  • Just checked out your page.. I see your difference in point of view now.

  • Rangel is as corrupt as they come.

  • All the republicans have left is abortion.

They use abortion and religion as a tool to get people to vote for them.

    HOW DISGUSTING IS THAT?

  • No fusion1204 America has with this bill.

  • Thanks for posting my comments you boob!

  • Isnt Rangel as corrupt as any Republican? You people ragging ion repubs need to check your own corrupt leaders you shitheads

  • I'm still not believing that they wouldn't let the American woman who was raped and imprisoned by Americans at an American company sue that company.

Republicans care about corporations and Americans who support those corporations. Otherwise...not so much.

  • A precondition of being a republican is a LACK of EDUCATION!

  • @gopisthehypocrisy

For you information, numbnut, most Republicans have a college or post-graduate level degree, whereas most Democrats have (at best) a high school diploma. Get your facts straight, noob.

  • What is your source? Have you been to the south (Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi)???? Do you know where they rank in education??

Watch you tongue and stop with your spin!

  • There's no "spin" to it, and my tongue is just fine, thanks.

  • TYPICAL!

A SHEEP can't source their own talking points.

You are already probably from one of the afore mentioned States, is that why you didn't answer?? You do know where the south ranks in education "don'tcha"?

  • Oh by all means, endeavor to elaborate on state education level rankings, by level of curriculum, and be sure to include your sources.

Ball is back in your court.

  • gbhobKNOBson

    WHAT???????

You have not answered ONE question. You can't source ANYTHING but FOX news can you??

  • No, you're not going to weasel out of this one so easily. Come on mister facts and figures ~ show me some stats to back up your assertion on the rankings of level of education, by state, and by level of curriculum. Remember where you said, "A SHEEP can't source their own talking points"?

    Put up or shut up.

  • 1990 Gallup Poll numbers relating education to political affiliation: Grade school education: 23.4% Rep, 54.6% Dem, 22.5% Ind Some High School: 22.8% Rep, 51.3% Dem, 26.0% Ind High School Grad: 29.4% Rep, 40.5% Dem, 30.2% Ind Some College and/or Tech: 36.0% Rep, 35.0% Dem, 29.3% Ind College Grad: 42.0% Rep, 30.7% Dem, 27.7% Ind Now, about that education level, by state and by level of curriculum....still waiting (or are you just going to continue with ad hominem responses?).
  • Nice job gbhobson.

    Slap em with the facts!

  • xetlive, you do realize the records he posted was actually bad for Dems right?

  • Jeremy, I'll respond to that with a Fox Noise common practice... "Some people say" No.

And the Dems have a nice buffer of peeps now since the Repub party has lost 9% of its base in the last 6 months or so. True they went Independent but the majority of Independents are leaning Left.

So the party obviously hurting itself more in the Repubs.

Didja see the video of John Stewart today? He caught Fox using video from the 912 rally and claiming it was the latest rally. Tooo Funny.

  • NO shit. I have to agree with you even though the Republican party is my party. Joseph Cao is the only GOP that actually listened to the people in his district I think. I endorse him. A Republican group sent me a friend request. I accepted it and asked them to endorse him for Congress next year.

I have to check that out. I missed that. about the rally. I stopped watching Fox after I got word of them blaming Obama for the Ft. Hood shooting. I'm even getting sick of Rush.

  • Republicans...the party of "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

...and they wonder why their party is dying out. They are a bunch of Scumbags!

  • Republicans hate women b/c they think they lose power in the social relationship.

  • Democrats and Republicans both reached a new low.

  • Rangle is such a lying corrupt lowlife.

He's obviously not going to do what he should do, so, welcome everyone to tax paid abortions!

Dems have reached a new low!

  • No credibility left conservofags

  • Why do Republicans hate women so much?

  • We don't hate women! We love life! We love babies, both born and unborn. And we love you! God loves you!

  • When did abortion become illegal in the United States?

  • Who cares about the Stupak Amendment. Abortion is small potatoes.

  • Some Republicans said they couldn't support the bill unless there was an amendment banning payments for abortions, so an amendment was added.

The Dems have been adding more & more to make Republicans happy & THEN THE GOP COMPLAINS ABOUT THE MANY PAGES IN THE BILL.

And then they vote against it anyway.

    WHY BOTHER?

  • I agree. Wish we could ALL see how much the republican party is getting paid by insurance companies to slow down and stop this bill

  • It don't make any sense to me, why would the Republicans fight so hard against Abortions? It's not like White Cristian women are the ones getting them. it would be cheaper to pay for the Abortion the to pay for Welfare & the eventual imprisonment.

  • Well if they take abortion off the table then they should provide for birth control in the legislation

  • I'm pro-life myself, and what's happening regarding abortion in the health care legislation is a perfect example of the complete lack of honor and decency that exists on BOTH sides. The Democrats should never have included abortion in the legislation, and the Republicans are just pandering to pro-life constituents as an excuse to stall the bill. Sickening.

  • @NsaneNtheNbrane it never was in the bill. The bill allows for legal medical procedures to be covered. Abortion, under the law, is a medical operation and can be doctor authorized. As a result, it is, by default, a legal and acceptable medical claim. The exception is solely on the Republican side to dictate specific things NOT covered SOLELY on their moral basis. If this was 1965, Republicans would have included birth control and interracial marriage bans for healthcare.

  • What I'm saying is that if the Democrats had any decency, they would've excluded abortion in cases where it wasn't a necessary, life-saving procedure(for the mother) so as to prevent this from becoming an issue in the first place.

  • *and also, plastic surgery is a medical operation, but I don't want to pay for someone else's nose job, either.

  • Yea and plastic surgery for child burn victims what republican wants to pay for that? Let them look like freaks forever and lets save some doe for the insurance companies, they are the real victims here

  • Taking an exception and arguing as if it's the rule is a fallacy. My whole point is necessity. If burn victims NEED plastic surgery, cover them. Elective surgery, though...pay for it yourself. An abortion is about as necessary as a boob job in Beverly Hills.

  • ELECTIVE plastic surgery is unnecessary. I think you would the decency and morality to see that plastic surgery for a burn or car wreck victim is an acceptable use of "your money". There are medical needs for abortion, and if the DOCTOR RECOMMENDS IT, then it would fall under the health plan. Not that "your money" is being spent for anything. If you actually knew what bill was passed, you'd know that taxpayer money isn't part of the equation.

  • Re: "...and if the DOCTOR RECOMMENDS IT..."

Yeah, and we can have faith in the honor system this is based on, because we don't have physicians abusing the writing of prescription drugs, for example.

Seriously, catch a clue. The size of government is going to mushroom if this thing goes through. Do you honestly think those people are going to work for minimum wage? Guess again. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

  • If you can not accept that doctors understand the medical need for their patients, then you are never going to be able to trust anyone with anything. I feel sorry for you, and you should try to keep yourself from voting. You would ban alcohol because some people may possibly drive drunk. You have a terrible position that is badly supported. You should understand how stupid your belief is and how utterly weak it was to defend banning medical procedures.

  • On the contrary. You should understand how naive you are, and just how huge the potential is for abusing the provisions of HR 3962.

  • So, you're saying that abortion will only be covered if there's a doctor recommendation? That's the first I've heard of that. If what you say is true, then I have no problem with that provision. I'll look it up myself, but I would like some evidence.

  • I just looked it up, and to quote a famous Republican, "You LIE!" lol.

"As many as 40 anti-abortion Democrats had signaled they might oppose the bill if its current provisions remained. Those provisions would have allowed insurers to separate public and private funds, permitting only the privately collected money to be used for elective abortions.

Public money could have been used only for abortions that result from rape or incest or threaten the life of the mother...

  • ...which has been federal law since the mid-1970s.

But anti-abortion Democrats objected that the bill still would provide a federal subsidy for insurance plans that allowed abortion"

    Source: McClatchy Newspaper and LATimes.

  • Typical liberal piece of guano that can't (won't) answer a simple question with a straightforward sentence. Indicative of deceitful and underhanded intent, as always.

  • Boehner's tan and heal clicking loyalty to someone else's talking points gives new meaning to the word "Brown Shirts." He looks like a drinker.

  • @kevin120857

You have nothing intelligent or thoughtful to bring, so instead you spew forth baseless and contemptuous assertions that have absolutely *nothing* to do with the topic at hand.

    Yeah, that's typical liberal behavior.

  • John Boehner. One person of color speaking about another.

  • Charlie Rangel Should be thrown out of office, along with all of them!! Put the farmers and Nextel guys in charge to get shit done right in this country!

  • I wish Rangel's mother would have aborted him

  • haha gotta love America.

  • Why is that republican playing the Kayne West Game? Imma letcha finish, but blablablah

  • Single-payer? Robust public-option?

  • Let me get this straight, you want to block LEGAL medical procedures that have been found to be protected as a constitutional right in Roe v Wade yet you will do anything in your limited power to make sure that Americans do not have access to healthcare? Instead of pro-life, isn't this more like pro-birth? And not even bothering to make sure a pregnant mother can get healthcare.

  • We need to SCREW the federal government if they pass this healthcare.

  • oh come on. Judging from your response it's not going to effect you.

  • Boner got schooled.

  • The Republicans are virtually nothing but obstructionists running a fear train down our throats. They are irrelevant and there time has come. This country is sick and tired of their MORAL HIGH GROUND. Hey assholes, this is no longer a "Christian Nation" grounded in God-fearing ideas. WAKE the FUCK up. Its over and you guys are through. Let us finally move on, without them!

  • Boehner doesn't seem to know anything about the government. Yesterday he was quoting from the Declaration of Independence, but thinking the text came from the Constitution. Tonight, he is asking for a guarantee from someone who doesn't have any authority to give it. As the minority leader, he should know how Congress works. Unfortunately, he seems to be clueless...

  • It seems like John Boehner had a few scotches for dinner.

  • Charlie Rangel should shut up and go pay his taxes....and Barbara Lee who is seated behind Charlie is a nightmare who worked for the Black Panther Party in Oakland and campaigned for the Bobbie Seals Mayor, the leader of the Black Panther Party in Oakland. Wow, the Dems are something else.

  • You Devil whitey!

  • Yeah Boehner's pro life. That's why he's blocking the Bill that will save 44,000 lives a year. Republicans have done enough damage to this country. The only thing we should promise to the Republicans is a cup of shut the fuck up.

  • Typical conservative fear speech. It's all about ideology and little about research and science. They are afraid of the boogie man, they are afraid of the end-of-days, they are afraid of change. Then they whine and moan with government breaks down when they, as do-nothings, are to blame. They stall change, they spread fear and they never take responsibility for squat. Please bring some new ideas and stop living in the 50s.

  • They don't need any stinkin' research. God's on their side.

  • SHAME ON YOU

  • When the two worst Congressmen combine

  • Yeah, Rangel's violations render him pretty useless in this discussion. He should resign his chairmanship. Not that Boehner is any better. Check his list of campaign contributions.

  • rangel shouldn't be talking about ethics violation

  • That's why they laughed.
