No - all the children are not happy... Living without and finally escaping gave many of them an extream longing and loving for material comforts. The healthy diet and ideals and activity started their metabolism correctly. Many children now are off and dead by their fourth grade. ~ get it? Also the family is in the film industry... so what is entirely true... is not. I think they would be relieved for you to know this.

The Family lived in the small town I grew up in, Martin South Dakota. It was mentioned a few times in the movie.
