Why you have to have to send this back to Brazil to get it fixed or have the original "owner do it for you", then you state "the warranty transfers from owner to owner". Which is it?

Taurus website states: "The Taurus Unlimited Lifetime Repair Policy™ is just that. The lifetime of the gun...not the buyer". They fixed mine and returned it in 13 days and I bought this from a friend of mine.

Also try loading your own ammo it's cheaper!

im looking to buy this gun. i have not seen one with those sights coming from factory, i thought they came with heini one dot rear and front sights i believe those were after market unless you have a new generation i havent seen. im deciding between this gun and a glock 30 i like this gun but it has too many bells and whistles (safety switches and crap) i like the glock too but i like the look of the millenium pro better frankly im torn nice gun though

@mrcowboy188 Dont get this gun!! I have owned it for about 6 mos and I hate it...It to top heavy..i will not fire sometimes...and when you carry it..you bang it on everything because its so damn fat!!

I have owned my PT145 for about 4 yrs and still love it , it is always by my side I have been running a Hip Hop club in Las Vegas and it fits in my jean pocket and for the past 3 yrs know one knows it's even there it is nice to have the insurance this gun gives -One

i am having problems with my 9mm pt111 stricker too..what a piece of shit gun..

i took it to the range for qualification for peace officer standards..every body with glock 19s where just laughing at me for all the rounds that failied to primer...

did your friend ever get it fixed.???? how did taurus deal with it..if you can respond i would apreciate it..

The barrel might be thinner because the chamber pressures  are lower in .45ACP

i have one bought it almost a year ago my only problem is the trigger. seeing as when you chamber a round its now SA i would highly advise using the safety

you sure thats a DAO? I havent seen a DAO pt145 pro? I have one with the duotone slide, and its definitely single action. It has a double action second strike capability that only activates when the round doesnt fire. You can do the double action trigger pull when there are no rounds in the chamber and you pull the trigger first, but loaded mag, and one in the chamber, it will be Single action on the first shot. Be carefull
