And even when the master Uruk kills the Orc, the Uruks wait for the master to give the order to eat.

@chilldude3 If you read the book you'll see that the Urks did their best to keep an eye on Merry and Pippin, but the orcs from mordor and Moria were defiant and bored. Plus, they had already been aware of the presence of the riders at the point where Merry and Pippin escaped. The problem with having Orcs do your work for you is that they are rebellious. So when you have three diffrent types of Orcs all wanting the hobbits for diffrent reasons, there is bound to be trouble. Read the book :-)

This is not an extended scene but in the special edition DVD's it's marked as one. There are like 4 or 5 in the trilogy which are marked as e.s.'s and are not. But is a good reference about orks and huruks' traditions for those who haven't read the book to understand that those creatures are the complete opposite of the elves (or elfs as Tolkien really liked to call them) great movie, wonderful books. Pete Jackson should film the hobbit too
