I love my 325i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $150 and add around 9hp in the six-cylinder E30s and a bit less in the 318. That's the best value per HP gain... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

i dont get why people A) are saying auto's cant drift....you can skan flick, you can power over, you can feint. the only thing you cant do is clutch kick, big deal, anyway if your changing gear by kickdown both hands are on the wheel = greater steering control, also drifting was invented by rally drivers to get round corners too tight for their turning circle quickly, they had less grip on the dirt than this guy has in the rain but you dont tell them they cant drift....people need to think more!

I’m happy with my E30 325is, but the only performance mods are ECU chip ($50) and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 11HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money.

-Adds 9-11 HP

-Never replace filter again (K&N)

-GREAT SOUND

-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.

wwhen its going side ways skid control knows it needs to be straight to shift, but because it was drifting and it was wet it didnt shift! it hit the rev limiter, im just guessing

@kaizen05 just put it into 2nd and it wont go out of 2nd. 2nd in auto is best to drift, that way you got more throttle control. I do it in my E30 which is auto and 2nd is usually the best (if you arent starting from a stop) - otherwise 1st into 2nd.
