  • i was born with a heart of lothian , blackburn , mannanan mac lir

  • FORD FIESTA MK1 28 sec

  • Still sends a chill up my spine!

This the album I would want if I was stranded on a desert island. I can play this album every day for the 20 years and never get tired of it! Kicks ass!

  • Welcome to the club..

  • This is Poetry!

  • I love the beginning of the last song, White Feather, he says, "When I hit the streets back in 81, found a heart in the gutter and a poet's crown"...

  • great song that is!!!

I also love the song bitter suit, the song is made of different poems real slick work, Fish is the man.

"A spider wanders aimlessly within the warmth of a shadow

Not the regal creature of border caves

But the poor, misguided, directionless familiar

Of some obscure Scottish poet" :-)

    from bitter suit, first part

  • The drummer, Ian Mosely, kicks ass on this song. What a classic song, I love it.

  • Fantastic song.

  • watch?v=DKKGzntUc0w must see this:)

  • Has it been that long.

    Great song and album.

    Fish, you were great Marillion.

    Thanks for the songs.

  • OMG you gotta love shitty Scottish towns, they have a flair nothing else does. Marillion are the best, thanks for sharing

  • Misplaced Childhood is my all time favorite album. Fish is just fantastic.

  • The driver guzzles another can of lager....lager...lager..

  • great song. listening to him sing and watching him in videos makes me want to go to scotland

  • must really go there iluvquakers

  • and the man from the magazine wants another shot of you all curled up...cuz you look like an actor in a movie shot...

This album will go down as one of my favorite albums of all time.

  • ...but you're feeling like a wino in a parking lot. How did I get here anyway? Do we really need a playback of the show, cos the wide boys want to head for the watering hole.

And the man in the mirror has sad eyes.

I can't hear this song without that part. End of act one.

  • Great!!!Amazing melodies...

    Rothery and Fish are divine!

  • Awesome song!

  • Excelnte video, la canción aun mejor. Fish es un grande inolvidable

  • Love this song, music sure ain't what it used to be. BTW The club owner is Dave, proprietor of the Winchester club much frequented by Arthur and Terry in the TV show Minder.

  • This video is weird.

  • If this doesn't sound like Rutherford and Genesis, I don't know what does. However, I think it is great!

    Vernal Pike

  • But more like Peter Gabriel than Phil Collins.

  • They are a Scottish band, they were know as the poor mans genesis, and fish was brilliant when he was with them.

  • The only Scottish member was Fish. Mark Kelly is Irish, and the rest are Englishmen.

  • Well, the name of the song is Scottish too: Lothian (Lowden in Scots, Lodainn in Gaelic) forms a traditional region of Scotland, lying between the southern shore of the Firth of Forth and the Lammermuir Hills.

  • Outstanding!!!

  • Great song - shame about the hair.

  • Amazing, amazing and amazing. Misplaced Childhood hymn. My favorite song from this album... Thanks !!!

Dzięki Ci bardzo za ten niesamowity utwór :)

  • Misplaced Childhood Albun.

  • Qué tema...y qué disco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fish es lo mejor!!!! lo amo!!

  • Their best video, I love this band after seeing it. Fish starts out looking like a bum but ends up being in a band. This video really shows how we can perceive people in the wrong way, i think. The song is catchy too.

  • thought he sang he was born with a haddock!! LOL!!!!

  • Spray their pheremones on this perfume uniform

    I love you Fish, U R a great, a lord ! bless you

  • Does anyone have the videos for 'internal exile' or 'lady let it lie' by fish. Dying to get a hold of them. Some guy had them on youtube but took them off. I was raging.

  • Wouldn't it have been great to see the Misplaced Childhood show in a club like that?

Its six o'clock in the tower blocks

    The stalagmites of culture shock

And the trippers of the light fantastic, bow-down, hoe-down

Spray their pheremones on this perfume uniform

  • thank you so much for posting this video!!! what a sick tune!

  • WAsn't that the guy from american pie.?

  • Like Munkin65, I never knew this existed as well -- Thanks for throwing it on MQWIZDEK Along with a few Beatle albums, "Exile On Main St", "Dark Side.." and "Quadrophenia", this is there as the best albums I know of.

  • Amazing song, from one of THE VERY BEST albums of all time. I'm sure the guy in charge of the pub is a celebrity, but I'm not sure who...

Someone please post Incomunicado video if they have it!!!

  • Incommunicado is now in my videos :)

  • @petertrickaz He is an actor - used to run the pub in 'Minder' I think

  • This song is beyond awesome. I never knew a video for it existed. Granted the video is amazingly cheesy but this song is STILL breathtaking. This album is one of my Top 5 of All Time.

  • Great to see Marillion with the Jester. A fantastic song. Thanks

  • From the Time-Life-Guardians in their conscience bubbles

Safe and dry in my sea of troubles

"Nine to five with suitable ties

Cast adrift as their side-show, peepshow, stereo hero

Becalm bestill, bewitch, drowning in the real"

-Anyone who can write like this is a genius in my books!

  • Fish is the fucking man!

  • Simplemente fantastico...Marilion sin Fish no es Marillion

  • It's 20 years plus since I first heard this and I still love it. Fish is a massive bloke. I'd love to see him and Jesse Rae have a fight!

  • LOL.

    Fish would kick butt.

  • exellent
