  • no, but i am hardcore on fundamentals. and i'm also big on finishing college so you become a productive member of society. he was the first player from UT to leave early for the draft, because 1 game "put him over the top". and 15 years from now, he'll be retired and doing commercials for fad diets and grillable meats.

  • I'm all for eductation, but dude doesn't need to finish college really. The main point of going to college is to get a degree, the main point of getting a degree is to get a good job, the main point of getting a good job is to do something you love and make cash. Vince is still doing both and making more money in a year than most do in a lifetime...Leaving college (and avoiding a VERY expensive--to his future--possible injury) makes sense in Vince's case.

  • Do you know how many college graduates are unemployed and in debt??? Many of them. The reason you go to college is to hone your skills for your profession, and his just happens to be football, in which he is very skilled at... He is a very productive member of society, hell, the unibomber was a college graduate and if that is a productive member of society, I'll give my university back their degree....

  • Vinsanity, Are you serious that he should have not gotten rookie of the year.... seriously look at the 3 seasons before vince young, then look at the games that vince played in... he single handedly took the titans back to a 8/8 record. But yet again the titans screwed up and drafted a safety, and a running back instead of getting a reciever with their value picks... stupid management
