  • :o

  • at the beginning he has to put his knee on a little pillow lololol

  • pic Ep

  • You should try using this off a cliff or hill! That ball goes flying!

  • I was looking for a video with a torsiondriven catapult but everyone just keeps calling trebuchets catapults...

  • drakhorse

  • cool...

  • its cool and all but its doesnt take skill to get a catapult and fling a ball out of it

  • @Aods11 first... most trick shots don't take skill. second... as the top comments say catapults are never spot on especially the trebuchet the way it is designed it was made to hit large walls, NOT very small basketball hoops

  • @wyvernrider100 sooo basically you have loads of attempts at flinging a ball out of a catapult and hope you get lucky? what great talent you guys have!

  • @Aods11 I do hope you see the talent in constructing a home-made catapult from plans we designed ourselves and having the determination to stick to a plan and see an idea though until it is accomplished, no matter what happens...

  • I love seeing all the comments where people complain about this or that. "It hit the ground first", "rich kids", "but you didnt make it". Then you look at their channels and they have NOTHING of any interest and some dont even have any videos uploaded at all. So until you people can make a video that is remotely entertaining to watch, you should try to be more supportive of what others are trying to do.

  • watch the "309 experience trick shot 2"

  • Nice

  • did you guys use a plan to build this? If so, where can I get a copy of it?

  • @glennmatt2 No, we just looked at a lot of pictures, videos, and websites about trebuchets. We didn't t try to entirely recreate any one of them. The one that inspired us most was the one by Jackdanielsx in the related videos. That's where we got the idea of using springs. We tried to draw up our own plans, but they didn't work out, so we just made it up as we went along. But we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted each part to do, and we kept adjusting whenever we needed to.

  • pretty softtt, the ball bounced and went it, As soon as the ball hit the ground, you failed

  • rich little kids is what i see.

  • @tightfoo in what way at all is a homemade catapult, a basketball, a hoop, and a camera "little rich kids"?

  • ....but you didnt even make it. no bounce and ill be impressed

  • ufo at :16! flies right through the top of the backboard

  • your all spoiled

  • @ECHO1ScarH We built this with the money we earned off of YouTube...That's called hard work.

  • @DcuStudios2 you kind of just helped me prove my point... you get money for doing what practically anyone can do. i mean dont get me wrong, the shots are cool but i could do them, so could my friends, so could my sister (maybe). But you get money for doing what isnt really that hard... (money being handed to you) ------> SPOILED

  • @ECHO1ScarH Spoiled is literally having money handed to you...we go outside for HOURS (days if you add up all the hours) in the heat or in the cold, and try these shots over and over again. Diligence and determination should not be looked upon as a bunch of "Spoiled rich kids." And if you are trying to say it nicely I wouldn't start out by saying "your all spoiled." And if its so easy, I would like to see your sisters 30,000 subscribers and national media coverage.

  • @DcuStudios2 sit booboo sit, good dog.

  • @ECHO1ScarH Nice

  • @DcuStudios2 which guy in this video am i talking to?

  • @ECHO1ScarH guy holding camera at the beginning

  • @DcuStudios2 u dont have to argue with these children, they are just upset cause they cant get the ball to the rim on a layup without getting hit in the head.

  • @ECHO1ScarH You're right, anyone can do these shots. But they are the ones who take time and effort to do them, therefore they deserve to get payed. Also, it cost $300 to build the catapult, I'm sure you have an xbox or something that costs $300.

  • @RyanJohnsonTV .... wow.... i do have an xbox

  • I knew somebody had to do this shot v

  • Ha Ha

  • Don't listen to this guy. He knows nothing about trick shots! Fortunatlly, I have friends who are some of the best trick-shooters ever!

  • would have been a good shot if the ball didn't bounce. obviously wasn't even intended as you heard the one guy sigh as it hit the ground

  • @lilkidluvr Here you are again.. hating on another trick shot video. This time you're hating on one of the best trick shot channels on YouTube. This is an insane shot even if they were trying to make it on the fly. How 'bout you go out and make a shot like this instead of sitting in your room making videos of yourself with your shirt off.

  • i like how the whole neighborhood is on summer break while parents are out at work <<<<< woot good times

  • was that ball just flat?

  • at 00:16, look between the big tree and the basketball hoop's backboard.

    UFO!!!

  • @jackvids7 dude how the hell did you see that!? i donno what it is but a ufo is what it looks like! kudos master seeer!

  • @minkusink6 Thanx!! =)

  • @minkusink6 Well, I do wear glasses.. mabye that's it =)

But yes it was a pretty good spot, not braggin' or anithing =)

  • First angle I was wondering why they started cheering so late... then I realized that the ball had bounced before it went in. haha

  • does christian have to flail every time he or you all make a shot?

  • Its sad to see people dissing you guys. Its like, what are they good for on this planet anyway?

  • SON OF A MOTHER DUCK!!!

  • Love this shot. Can't stop watching it. this is my 1,342nd view.

  • That was freaking legendary.

  • AHHH....... OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • 0.06 thats what she said

  • OMG

  • @coolshots77 it looks like his cursor

  • physics, its good for you

  • At first I thought you were going to hit the house. But guys.. not every shot is spot on, it could go right, it could go left, stop short, or go to far. So those who are saying its easy obviously never shot any type of catapult.

  • @Supra0809 This is right on. The trebuchet was the hardest shot we ever even attempted because there's no way to control it and it's not consistent. But it hit the mark once and we're happy with that! :)

  • All these trolls think nothing of spending $500 for an XBox and games, when they could build something like this the price if not less, and then call them rich kids. Maybe they are rich because they have more ambition than your overweight couch potato offspring.

  • you spelled legendary shops wrong

  • Spoiled rich kids with too much free time and money. This is entertainment?

  • @citizenzombie Jealous because you slave away at McDonald's every week for minimum wage?

  • @OneCoolDude08 I'm not jealous of anything. I'm a teacher.

  • @OneCoolDude08 I live and work, here in Japan, where I EARN my living (read: I don't live off of someone else's hard work). So, to answer your question; no, I'm not jealous of anything.

  • @citizenzombie jelly the rich kids are smarter than you?

  • @ 0:27 UFO in the sky?

  • Wow moveziggula you must be the master of trebuchets and know everything. SHARE YOUR WISDOM

  • That's gotta be the shittiest home-made trebuchet I've ever seen. I would think some spoiled rich kids with nothing better to do could do better than that after several days of building and 7 full Saturdays of shooting, or at least hire a couple Mexicans to make a better one.

  • So this is what rich parents kids do in their spare time...

  • What camera do you guys use? Also i would more then gteatly apreciate it if you could check out my trickshots!

  • GO NOLES! hahahaha nice shirt broseph.

  • Będzie w kompilacji TNL :D

  • Congrats, guys! Great job -- legendary shot! ;)

  • @InvinciblenFx

Why thank you. I have family in Tallahassee, but I'm going to Alabama.

  • Beast!

  • Nice shot :)

  • bob sagamonster

  • That's a trebuchet... I'm sure it's been said, but for fuck's sake.

  • A very good morden neighbor busting weapon lol

  • lol guy taping making jizzing noises

  • How rich white people compensate for not being able to jump.

  • um...it bounced in...it didnt go through...

  • Everything is more fun with a Trebuchet.

  • Thumbs up if you like The Legendary Shots more than Dude Perfect

  • Why people are silly

  • gotta luv rich bored suburban kids... damn look at them houses. there huge

  • Not impressed . . . The ball bounced first and then into the basket. Now if it was straight into the basket . . . swoosh. . . That would've been great!

  • Not impressed . . . The ball bounced first and then into the basket. Now if it was straight into the basket . . . swoosh. . . That would've been greatl

  • Okay everyone...we know it is called a trebuchet! We thought it would simply be easier to call it a catapult because many people (including ourselves before we started) had never heard of a trebuchet before. And if we really want to get technical, a "trebuchet" is actually a type of catapult. Many different medieval siege weapons fall under the "catapult" umbrella, and trebuchets are one of them.

  • This is a great physics video, most of this for the most part could be pretty accurately calculated within a few inches of error I'm sure. Nice.

  • This is not a catapult it's a trebuchet.

  • where is 0:28? :/

  • At first I expected to see that ball go sailing through the window of that house.

  • NOT impressive. its an easy trick, first, shoot a basketball from a catapult a few times, then place a hoop directly under its line of landing. simple

  • @maha77 Man would I love to see you try to shoot our catapult for a few minutes!

  • @DcuStudios2 Anyone could.

  • @headly66 You guys really don't understand. It took us several days to build this and about 7 full Saturdays to shoot this. It isn't a matter of "moving the goal" we tried everything.

  • @DcuStudios2 I believe you. Trebuchet aren't exactly the most accurate projectile weapon. For what it's worth, the trebuchet itself looks great and has a really satisfying sound (even in the release was ten or fifteen degrees too early :3)

  • @DcuStudios2

Perseverance is so key hey, lots of people who don't ever try this sort've stuff just sit back on their computers and fire away with negativity! But the joy you get when it goes in makes it worth it, only fellow trick shooters understand! Really impressive shot - love your work guys. Legends! When we come to USA it'd be sweet to do something together! Bless ya heaps!

  • @DcuStudios2 it takes effort to engineer stuff, regardless of any of the obvious trolling here. Regardless of whatever you had motivating you, I hope you take that with you into college and beyond. It is the sheer fun you get out of building something and knowing what you did allowed you to do something cool that helps lead to innovations in our world. So keep on engineering and turn that "catapult" :) into the next pressurized basketball canon! ;)

  • @DcuStudios2 Don't even respond to these internet trolls dude. They are worthless beings who don't do anything but waste space and take up oxygen. They'll never even come close to accomplishing anything like what you guys did because they're too busy talking about things on the internet they have absolutely no understanding of.

    Nice work :)

  • @maha77 they made a fucking catapult! you go make a catapult bitch

  • @maha77 If it's SO easy you should make a bigger one and film it, HAHAHA!

  • @maha77 You're a moron.

  • virgins?

  • Awesome shot, but it is technically a trebuchet.

  • life of these guys is very complicated and hard

  • woooooooooooow crazy men

  • i think these guys could win pretty easy in a lottery too...

  • thumbs up if Yahoo brought you here!

  • @mrfufifu homepage?

  • Comment removed

  • @mrfufifu Awesome!

  • @DcuStudios2

Not so sure if you were on homepage, but it was blogged by a sports writer called Jeff Eisenberg.

You were also on Huffington Post. :)

  • wow one of the best shots i have seen from you guys yet

  • freakin EPIC!

  • yea i think its a trebuchet, but for lack of people not knowing what that is, id go wth catapult too

  • Now thats a LEGENDARY!!!

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

  • Wow!! Awesome shot guys!!

  • thumbs if you saw the alabama hat!!!!!!

  • OMG ITS SWOOZIE!!!!!

  • This machine is trebuchet not catapult...

    but awesome shot

  • 1 word to say: Awesome

  • key-razy

  • @swoozie06 Thanks man!! :)

  • pretty sure thats a trebuchet

  • Press 8 over and over. (Sounds like a barking dog) :)

  • This is an awesome shot.

  • how many trys did it take?

  • @bridgget522 if you combine all the days they spend doing it...i would guess at the very least 300 attempts

  • dude those are called trebuchets, we're making them in school!!!! any suggestions?

  • This took way too long... When I heard you guys were doing a catapult shot (which was a few months ago) I thought it would be so much better... Not trying to hate, but did it seriously take you guys like 3 months to do this?? or are ya'll just settling for it?

  • @hsc109 catapults are fairly accurate but in terms of getting a basketball in a "slightly larger than a basketball" shaped circle, its pretty darn hard

  • @JeffyBigH i guess what my point is, I really thought it would be a much longer shot than this...this looks like a 30 yard shot...not that impressive seeing as it took you guys all spring to get it..

  • @hsc109 doubt they did it for hours every day, may have only done it once every few days or week.

  • @JeffyBigH so you really believe that they got a big ass catapult out to try it only ONCE every few days?? If im pulling a catapult out im going to keep it out for an hour or two...Im just saying that the "hour or two" every few days added up to a hell of a lot of time over a few months...

  • @hsc109 i meant they only tried for a few hours while getting it out one day during the week, not one shot per day.

  • @JeffyBigH I know that...but a few hours, one day a week, for a few months is a lot of shots...

  • @hsc109 indeed it is

  • press 2 on your keyboard

  • I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B--L-E.

  • @ScottKinmartinTV Thank you!!!

  • when the video ends at 27 this random black dot appears in the sky, what is it?

  • @coolshots77 aliens tht wer scopinjg us out today 5/21/11 RIP humN RACE

  • @coolshots77 maybe its a basketball shot out of a cannon

    who knows?

  • @coolshots77

It might just be a camera glitch or computer glitch

  • @coolshots77 is it a bird? is it a plane? ITS A MOTHER FUCKING FLYING BLACK DOT!

  • @coolshots77 it's actually not a random black dot, it looks like it's probably a bird (if you watch when it forms, it actually has 3 frames that show it originating near the tree), it happens very quickly. The only other thing I can think of is a mouse icon, but giving how distorted it is, I think a bird is a more likely explanation of what it is.

  • @coolshots77 i saw it. i think one of them like threw a hat or something else and it like was in the sky like right when the video ended

  • @coolshots77 the neighbour's catapult lol

  • @coolshots77 ITS ZE BIIIIRD!!!

  • @coolshots77 a birdie!!!!!:)

  • Isn't it more like trebuchet rather than catapult?

  • THAT WAS SICK! So glad you guys got it!

  • So is this the super secret shot?

  • Awesome!

  • this is why im subbed not for some horrible lebrons advertisments

  • I'm more interested in this catapult. I wanna see what it can do! Make a video about how you built it!

  • was that meant to bounce or swish? crazy!

  • THAT WAS CRAZYYY AWESOME AMAZING INSANE AND UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! is this the shot yall have been working on since january??

  • @asdfff13 yes, yes it is!

  • i watched this at least 10 times just to look at the amazing catapult! That was amazing

  • How long did it take you to build that?

  • hahahah yalls tags for this are hilarious.

  • thats insane!!!

  • Wow, that was really awesome!!

  • Nice. Trebuchets FTW!

  • You guys get WAY to excited after you make it

  • WTF GUYS?? your amazing!

  • Was this first try
