Wow, just found you on the net, I played for 15 years but stopped when I was in my teens. I'm now 40 and want to start again but finding it hard to find inspiring stuff to play until today! Not sure where to start, is the sheet music detailed enough to include all that lovely stuff you're playing or do you do lots of improvising? Just ordered a Richard Marx sheet music book....

you need a good piano that is in tune.

digital pianos that have weighted keys will give you the technique.. Keyboards that do not have weighted keys limit the development of the strength and control of the fingers.

it's actually called "portable grand piano"...

The only thing I can play is Twinkle, twinkle little star and I think that's really hard.

Your videos are so inspiring, they make me want to learn to play :) ...I don't think I could afford a good keyboard yet, but could you possibly recommend a cheap basic keyboard I can buy and connect to my computer, maybe via USB, so it uses software and my sound card to keep the price low?

..software & sound card are not as good in sound quality as what you would get on the keyboards. What sound card would sound like my videos ?..(youtube vids are compressed so actual sound quality is even greater). with mass production, the price of keyboards are now more affordable than ever before.

Remember get a known brand and the more you invest the better sound & features.

Not only is your piano playing amazing but I'm in awe at how well you can arrange the accompaniment on the Technics keyboard in the back. That takes a lot of work I imagine and is just as wonderful.

Timing with the sequencer is a big ask.. as it will just come in as programmed. It makes a big difference to the final outcome.. I love those strings..
