True, it's not the highest performance tech... Otoh you can get one of these babies for $700-800. Which is about half or a third of a tablet with active touch. Want to spend $1000 EXTRA for more a responsive touch screen, you can do that. I think it's nice of HP to give us a choice.

To be quite frank i think that passive screen technology is too slow and too innacurate, Try tablets with active digitizer technolgy. (WACOM pattented technology)
