Glad you liked it - one of the tunes is the half hannikin, played in both C major and C minor.

The term hurdy-gurdy was not used till well after the Middle Ages and is derived from an Urdu phrase 'urd- gurd' which means to go round in a circle. It is applied to any device which involves a wheel being turned by a crank. Anyway hurdie is medieval for an arse!
