Yes, Colombian tegus can be more aggressive, BUT they can be very tame and good-tempered if you give them proper care, handle them daily so that they become used to you, and just take good care of them. hmmm, that's the same type of care you give Argentine tegus, isn't it? Shhh, just like pit-bulls, the Colombian tegus have a bad reputation when they can be very good pets.

i proved that columbian tegus can actualy be less agressive than argentine tegu so stop givin them a bad name theyre a great pet

Help! my Argentine Tegu escaped and i saw her sleeping in a curl under the couch. As i slowly went to capture her she woke and was startled so ran away then i lifted the couch and her tail got caught underneath....must of been a lot of pressure because she detached at least a whole foot of her tail and it was a clean... break:( she is not bleeding and seems to be normal but i am worried because 1. will it get infected now she has this open wound and 2. will her tail grow back?

no the columbian tegus are not agressive there just skittish i have three they live together and are very tame i think the red tegus are harder to tame they dont really learn from there mistakes much

are you kidding me? Columbian's aren't aggressive? please tell me you just mixed up your words. columbians are little devils! i have one and i did the same thing with them as i did with my black nose tegu(puppy dog tame) and he still lunges for the food and hisses
