  • Well done mate! Best cover :)

Could you maybe reveal the strumming pattern.. I've tried, but sounds like I miss a strum somewhere.

  • Excellent. Thanks for the tabs. Just learned about them from Garage Band.

  • this is great man. love the whistling sound..

  • Great Cover i love it!!!!!

  • I love Cat Stevens but when I listened to this song it sounded too complicated for a beginner like me, but seeing how its done by you has inspired me to learn it. I'm realising that all my favourite songs are fairly simple chord structures ( wildwood, wonderwall etc) so thank so much.

  • @trampster64 - I was the same with this song, amazing it is only 3 chords (basically). Yeah, I think all the best songs are the simplest. It's nice to hear this video was a source of inspiration for you to learn it - Great song, from one of my favourite movies.

  • thank you

  • This is Really Good man! One of my favorites! This Rates for sure! Peace

  • thank you

  • THANK YOU for putting those chords up. Just saw Eddie Vedder on Michael Moores doco and HAD to learn this. All the TAB on the web says AED in standard position, but it just didn't sound right. Your chord positions are the real deal. Thanks again.

  • Nice job on a great song!

  • Great cover man... I've got it dialed now, thanks for the lesson!

  • well done my friend ill forward this many timrs

  • Thank you SO much for being thoughtful enough to put up those chords. Your playing is awesome.

  • thanks man, nice fret moves, whistling and singing. Great song.

  • very nicely done, thanks so much for the chords (i scoured the internet for a correct version)

  • This is the best cover of this song i've seen so far.

  • Hey thanks. I like Eddie Vedder's version myself. It's in a completely different league to all the other covers.

  • decent :)

  • I play it A=3,E=3,D=1, then 5 more on the D, and slide up to the E for 1.

Actually, I don't use standard chords, coz they just don't sound right to me. But I hope this helps you figure it out. Cheers!

  • How many times do you strum each cord? Some websites say A=3,E=3,D=5,E=2 but I do that and it sounds wrong but that might be because Im not that good. by the way you sound great and gave me the inspiration to keep trying this song.

  • great job, thanks for tabs too!

  • That was really good! It put a smile on my face. :)

  • Cheers! You're so sweet
