very nice. this is one of the reasons i created an account on youtube. i've been looking for cajun music in manitoba and thank you for posting this.

@badalternative Thank you for your comment but I don't live in Manitoba any longer. I live in Nova Scotia about 60kms from Pubnico which is part of the Acadian shore.

@citizen523 The owl's is open past 9 and I've yet to see a closed sign across the lake, and just because the stores are closed at 9 doesn't mean we can't party till daylight. No Pubnico may not be a "party town" but on any given weekend u can find pretty much what he's talking about in this song, or at least a gang partying, dancing and or having a good time some-where's. This may not exactly be the French shore but we are french and live on the shore and like the french shore we're all acadian.

@citizen523 Well like I said, I'm sorry you didn't like MY song. My friends born and raised in Pubnico thought it was pretty good and the folks I played it for on Canada Day there did too. It's just a song, plus if you listen to the lyric again, you'll note that I said I came looking for a party but got lost. All I say about the Acadians is they like to dance. I know that's true.

@citizen523 Gosh I'm sorry you don't like my song. I have several friends in Pubnico who think it is a fun ditty. In fact when I played it there on Canada Day people seemed to enjoy it. I guess I'd been misinformed about the French shore though because I thought it started at Pubnico and extended to Digby. Anyway it was also written at 3:30am. Thanks for your comments.
