There is no reason to feed a live mouse to a spider. No known tarantula species 'needs' to eat rodents and the injuries a spider might sustain while fighting one down might actually kill it either immediately or during its next molt when it gets stuck to scar tissue on the inside of its old exoskeleton. I couldn't care less about mice, but if you want your spider to live a long, healthy life, keep a colony of crickets. They're cheaper, cleaner and less dangerous to your spider than mice.

Yes its perfectly natural for spiders to eat rodents, just part of natural life. However what is sick and un natural is someone videoing it and taking pleasure in another creature's suffering, for that you really need to see a shrink, who'll tell you what your inadequacy is. No sense of self worth, a feeling of a lack of control in your life? So you make up for it by being "god" with a mouse? or is it that you are just a sick little boy who mummy doesn't love.
Not that I care what you feed your tarantula, but just avoid feeding it mice or other vertibrates on a regualar basis. It causes molting issues that can be fatal, but nothing wrong if your just keeping a balanced diet.
In the wild it's acceptable, its the food chain. This is just inappropriate =[ - there are alternatives which don't cause suffering and still yield food for a spider.

This is a feeder mice. Pet stores breed and sell these mice with the intention for their customers to feed it to their pets. And yes, it has to be alive otherwise pets like snakes and this spider will not eat it.

There is no reason to feed a live mouse to a spider. No known tarantula species 'needs' to eat rodents and the injuries a spider might sustain while fighting one down might actually kill it either immediately or during its next molt when it gets stuck to scar tissue on the inside of its old exoskeleton. Yes its perfectly natural for spiders to eat rodents, just part of natural life. However what is sick and un natural is someone videoing it and taking pleasure in another creature's suffering, for that you really need to see a shrink, who'll tell you what your inadequacy is. No sense of self worth, a feeling of a lack of control in your life? So you make up for it by being "god" with a mouse? or is it that you are just a sick little boy who mummy doesn't love.

Not that I care what you feed your tarantula, but just avoid feeding it mice or other vertibrates on a regualar basis. It causes molting issues that can be fatal, but nothing wrong if your just keeping a balanced diet.

Guys this stuff happens all the time just because it dies while its alive doesn't make it wrong. I wouldn't call the video "fun" but nevertheless some spiders WILL NOT eat unless its alive so you want the tarantula to die instead? If you say yes then you're either squeamish or blind and honestly look up why you feel that way. Its a instictual sorta thing. Anything that resembles a human baby we feel an instictual need to protect. Also hence why we think puppies and kittens are cute.

This is a feeder mice. Pet stores breed and sell these mice with the intention for their customers to feed it to their pets. And yes, it has to be alive otherwise pets like snakes and this spider will not eat it.
But what doesn't need to happen is for people to film it, post it on youtube, and call it Mouse Fun when its not.
